40% of solo terrorists have a history of violence and about the same amount have been in prison at some point.

they have in general poor connection to work life and bad economy.

they are 13 times as likely to have some mental problems compared to ppl that do terror in groups.

in >60% of cases the terrorist have told someone in his environment about his terror plans

in 1/3 of cases the solo terrorist has experienced stressful trigger events in the year before they perform terror.

they plan their terror in many months ahead, its not impulsive.

they perform terror for status and recognition. it starts with a poor life situation that is frustrating and then they connect it to some terror ideology to justify their violence.


this is sort of the same thing we see in right wing extremists that perform violence. its typically a guy that had a lot of problems in their earlier life and has already been violent in the past. a typical right wing extremist doesnt perform violence out of thin air, violence is highly irregular and its typically these unstable personalities that eventually cross the red line.

right wing extremists have killed hundreds of people in europe the past 1-2 decades or so, i cant remember exactly, but especially russia have alot of it. it doesnt make the news that much since its typically incidents where there is 1-2 victims whereas in islamic terror there is like a whole bunch. typically the targets from right wing extremists are gays and immigrants etc.

there was some waves of anarchistic terror also some decades ago also aswell as some left wing extremism. the left wing extremists victim groups was what typically business leaders etc.

No, I'm 100% of the opinion that this conflict will not end until the West comes to terms with the fact that we are targets because we've spent the last several generations propping up oppressive regimes and stealing the mineral wealth from the Middle East.
