How much ****ing money did James take from Cuomo so she won't go after all of his corruption?

Teachout has LITERALLY written the ****ing book on going after Trump for his emoluments clause violations.

Why? This is like the least exciting primary ever as far as having a stake in it. James and Teachout are both great. Lt. Governor is purely ceremonial and meaningless (I guess if Cuomo gets removed for corruption it won’t be), and Nixon was never going to win. It’s not like we’re watching a republican takeover of NY here. the far more important races were the IDC *******s and I’m glad to see they seem to be on track to get booted.

I guess I’m just not that worried about it. If he’s corrupt the feds will get him in the end.

Julia Salazar won (DSA, challenging 16 year incumbent in state senate)

The Lt. Governor race is shockingly close, could go either way at this point (still a lot of Brooklyn left where Jumaane is dominating, but still a lot of everywhere else in the state left where Hochul is leading).

Since I made the post Long Island came in and shifted it bigly towards Hochul. Not as close now as it was.

Haha yeah. Probably not going to be that close just swingy based on who reports until enough votes get in.

Thank you! Any way to expel the remaining traitors from the party?

Idk, don't think so other than primarying them again next time.

New York primaries demonstrate that the biggest obstacle to progress isn't the GOP but corporate-owned Democrat political machines.
09-14-2018 , 04:56 AM
Errr no. Maybe they demonstrate that about deep blue NY, but the biggest obstacle nationally is the GOP ainec.

Also don't use "Democrat" as an adjective. That's rightwinger speak.

This. Whenever I'm amongst Republicans that do this I start calling them Republic/Republics.

Beto should post this video on his own Twitter account.

Probably something like "Look at all the black people he's animating, now they're gonna come rape your pure white daughters because of Beto"

The Weeds cautioned in yesterday's episode that police are broadly popular in America, especially among white people (Republicans more than Democrats, but Democrats still have favorable views), and by a small majority with Hispanic people.

That said, they also discussed Cruz attacking Beto in general over his rhetoric in the Botham Jean case and how maybe this case, which is absurdly clear-cut against the police officer, isn't the hill you want to die on as Cruz?

It's hard to see who it moves the needle for. I'm pretty sure anyone who views that and gets their "white genocide" fear triggers activated was already in the Ted Cruz camp, normal people (especially anyone who knows anything about Botham Jean) just see a person saying reasonable things.
