And there's no way to get a decent understanding of the props from the ballot. I'm pro-initiative, but reading the summaries is not great. It's better just to follow some source of endorsements you like.

Voting for judges is ridiculous. Maybe in a super small town it works, but people are just picking based on names they like (which means guessing gender and ethnicity) if they bother at all.

I don’t vote if I don’t know the person.

Weather is terrible in NY, don't know about elsewhere. Will be curious to see how it affects turnout (there's no early voting in NY--THANKS CUOMO YOU ****).

Will Florida release vote counts for statewide races (sen/gov) before the panhandle closes at 8pm?

Voting machine failures at some precincts in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The county went for Clinton 50/44 and is one of Georgia's largest.

Usually they issue results as precincts report but it’s FL so who the hell knows?

I believe in either 08 or 12 no one called FL for the presidential race until the following day but Obama already had > 270 so it didn’t matter

An hour long wait in my middle class kc suburb now. Pretty ridiculous

Anyone know the reasoning behind laws banning voting-booth selfies? I can’t think of a good reason.

I vote against prosecutors. If it's two prosecutors, I don't usually vote. I wrote Noam Chomsky in for sheriff.

I vote against "Real Estate", "Business" or people who use their middle name as ad space. One of our candidates for assessor was John "Lower Taxes" Smith.

Speaking of property taxes, I voted for the storm water measurethat increases them. But I'm not freerolling you. I pay the property taxes on our house even though we rent.

I live in KY and agree. Insane how long the lines are in Lexington to vote. Some of the reports people are sending are amazing. If there isn’t historic turnout today in Fayette County, I will be shocked.

Yeah, even in a really pessimistic scenario I don't think there's any reasonable threat of Stewart winning. If anything, he's such an awful candidate that I would think that his existence on the ballot may provide a boost to Dems in the swing districts where they stand to potentially pick up seats. I guess I don't know if this hypothesis has been proven out historically, but I have to think that the headline race always trickles down to some extent.

Please please please please please don't **** this up America.

I'm listening to KOGO 600AM (rush, hannity s station) in San Diego they say "if you're headed to your polling station to vote and you need to find out your traffic that's coming up in 10 minutes" what the? Do people need to beat traffic to vote?

It's to prevent vote buying or coercion. While they make sense in a theoretical way, I think it's akin to using voter ID laws to prevent theoretical voter fraud.
