He wouldn't want President Hillary or a judge assassinated. But there is no doubt it was what his comment pertained to. He made the comment because that's how his mind works. After saying "there is nothing you can do" it occurred to him that these nutty second amendment people actually could do something. Since he has no filter he just comes out with this stupid inappropriate joke.

I know that many of you get annoyed at me because you think I profess an expertise I don't have in various subjects. Does that include stupid inappropriate jokes? Didn't think so.

Wikileaks reminds me of when Homer Simpson started a news website. They broke a few good stories once, now they make up bull**** to stay relevant.

Yep. 3 things stood out:
1) Dukakis seems like he's still in good condition (assuming his footage is recent) more than 30 years later. It's ridiculous that Reagan would slam him on any health-related issue. (Although it does go nicely with his line from a Mondale debate: "I want you to know that also I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience."

2) Seems the Dukakis camp was just not good, and they weren't prepared for any of the attacks/criticisms from the Bush campaign. Dukakis basically says, "Clinton got exactly the same degree of attacks that we got, but his campaign was effective at anticipating and responding to them. We weren't."

3) Dukakis had a decent lead before the conventions before getting wafflecrushed.

"Is it possible that Trump is being treated unfairly, that we jump on every little thing he says and twist his words, making a big deal out of nothing? Sure it is. That has happened before. But in this case, the criticisms are legitimate, because this isn’t just a silly “gaffe” of the kind we waste so much time on."

Interesting OPED by William Galston in today's WSJ. On the GOP talking point that this is a "Change Election". Per latest WSJ/NBC poll, Trump leads 48% to 26% as the candidate better suited to change business as usual in Washington. However, Clinton leads 42% to 36% as the candidate more likely to change the country for the better.

Galston points out that in a Change Election a candidate must do two things. He must convince voters he can bring about change. And he must convince voters that change will be for the better. Trump has done the former but failed miserably in the latter. While 77% believe Trump would change the way things work in Washington, 44% of those believe he would change things for the worse.

I actually agree with this.

Trump's hardcore supporters are convinced that their very way of life is under attack. Am I wrong to fear what happens after Trump gets blown out and they realize they don't have the numbers to MAGI by conventional means?

Well, what can conservatives do with this information?
Lol at how you need to account for ageing because the photo they found of some doctor is 15 years old.

They didn't even go to the ****ing effort of tracking down and visiting the guy.

Or when he "accidentally" held up a picture of a 12 year old Chelsea Clinton 3 days after the election as a picture of the "new White House dog".

And by this you obviously mean "use the motivation to coalesce around a common goal and work through our current political system to achieve their political objectives", right?

Trump support dropping among Republican women

Quote:
In late July, 72 percent of Republican women said they would vote for Mr. Trump, a healthy majority, but far below the level won by the past three Republican presidential nominees. In 2012, Mitt Romney won 93 percent of Republican women. In 2008, John McCain won 89 percent, and four years earlier, George W. Bush won 93 percent.

In politically moderate swing states like Pennsylvania, which aides to Mr. Trump say are crucial to his victory, Mr. Trump’s standing with women over all is perilously low among registered voters: Just 27 percent of women back him, compared with 58 percent for Mrs. Clinton, according to a poll by Franklin & Marshall College.
Quote:
Mr. Trump draws his deepest support from white men, especially those without a college degree. But he has alienated a growing number of white women, especially those with college degrees, surveys have found. Mrs. Clinton is now leading in that demographic.

“What Trump is doing has never been done before: He is losing college-educated white women,” said Stuart Stevens, Mr. Romney’s chief strategist in 2012 and a critic of Mr. Trump’s campaign.
But never fear, there are still Trumpkins to UNSKEWWWWWW this negative omen:

Quote:
Elizabeth Gonzalez, a Trump supporter who lives in North Carolina, questioned the motives of the Republican women who are now speaking out against him.

“They probably feel threatened because he’s an outsider,” she said.

Don't worry. Trump has got the female voters perfectly set up with some solid negs, now he just needs to ease in some kino and they'll be eating out of his hand. It worked with Ivanka.

Do you have the quotes?

As recently as last week, I read Assange saying he wasn't trying to influence the election one way or the other, but that he did think HRC and the DNC showed troublesome practices.

I'm not saying JA is or isn't trying to push one side for the election, but just that I've read him as saying that he's not and don't have quotes from him otherwise.

Would gladly stand corrected if I'm just ignorant/wrong. I'm just as curious as anybody else on this corruption stuff and politics - although, I have some issues with Wikileaks as an entity and wonder if I should support anything they do (out of principle).

The man in red on CNN: "I can't believe he said it...take him out to the shed...he was making a joke." Darrell Vickers. He will be voting for Trump.

Even Dilbert is practically throwing in the towel on the Trump train.

Trump right now actually going with the, "You heard what Hillary said when she said she's going to raise taxes on the middle class. It was pretty clear" bit.

Dumb as hell RW blogs and videos now an actual part of a Republican nominee's rally speeches. She said "we aren't going to raise taxes...". Why did I even type that? Why is this a thing? Just totally making things up.
