the mainstream media is way too nice/easy on the Republicans. Krugman talks a bunch about this, how Paul Ryan gets to be "Mr. Fiscal Responsible", when he is a complete buffoon. It is the need to constantly say "I wish they would all just work together".. the endless false equivalency, the notion that both sides always have to be equally wrong. One side is bat **** insane.

Good article covering a business insider article about trump's rise courtesy of the right-wing media

Quote:
Darcy argues that Republican elites encouraged conservative voters to embrace alternative, hard-line right-wing media outlets — which made them powerless when those outlets turned on them by backing Trump.

so like, legally he can say he saw on tv that she had a concussion years ago, but the implication is that he knows her physician personally and therefore, as doctors, they trade inside secret knowledge of HILLARY'S HEALTH, and he just felt like breaking his ethics again this time for nbc news cameras.

so this doctor is a guy who is a nut or panders to nuts, exactly the kind of guy donald should love

ideally, he would be the queen of england. you get to live in a giant fancy famous house for free while people from around the world all come to give you respect. and your only real responsibility is to wave back to your adoring subjects.

Yeah if he actually knows anything non-public then he just broke HIPAA

But he is likely playing word games...he has met her physician (at a conference) and he also knows some of her health history from what is public...

amazing. this is so pro wrestling to me, so much drama leading up to the big bout.

my favorite quote from trump's Art Of The Deal cowriter in the above article,
“Trump has severe attention problems and simply cannot take in complex information — he will be unable to practice for these debates,” said Mr. Schwartz, who was the subject of a New Yorker profile last month that portrayed Mr. Trump as a charlatan. “Trump will bring nothing but his bluster to the debates. He’ll use sixth-grade language, he will repeat himself many times, he won’t complete sentences, and he won’t say anything of substance.”

I am looking forward to the first debate more than I have looked forward to anything in a long time

Hell, he doesn't even need to do any preparation to take her out. She's got so many weak points, the only difficult part will be deciding where to start.

It's gonna be brutal. Mass libtard freakout guaranteed.

IANAL, but I think that the doctor that told Trump's doctor the info (if that actually happened) is the one that broke HIPAA. If Trump's doctor has no doctor/patient relationship with Hilary then I don't think it's possible for him to break HIPAA w.r.t. Hillary even if he discloses what he knows.

Agree this is the most likely scenario.

Since the first words were spoken more than 100,000 years ago, across every discussion, debate, argument and fight which has occurred throughout history, nobody has ever been drawing deader than Trump is in these debates. There is literally no scenario, including Clinton dropping dead in the middle, by which he wins.

This made me think of Catcher in the Rye for some reason. And it would make sense, if Holden Caulfield sold out to become a complete ******* and a billionaire.

Duh, yeah, I don't need some NYT bestseller for this info. Klingbard could of told me that.
