English politics: Lords Reform English politics: Lords Reform

Lords reform currently hitting all the headlines.
The tory "grandee's" against reform, as well as the back benchers and daily mail.
Labour currently supporting it, lib dems needing it lest they fail in government.

So, who thinks it really will be a game changer for the coalition- can Nick Clegg stay in the coalition- or even as leader, if this fails?
Will labour support these reforms or find another opportunity to screw with the government?

Is the reform good or bad?

Imho, probably don't support it, seems to create another relatively unnecessary piece of government, but if it's done correctly might be able to actually have a decent legislative secondary house with lawyers, doctors, and other assorted experts.
But, if it does fail i do truly believe the lib dems falling apart if it fails- unless Vince Cable leads a revolution and chucks out Nick Clegg.

Only way i'm voting lib dems again is if they chuck out cleggers. the guy is a failure
