I think I just queered my own action.

I found a book offering me Detroit +8.5 so I round robined it as the key leg of a bunch of doubles with a bunch of meh picks (MIN+6, JAX+5.5, NYJ+3, STL+12, ARI+3, PHI+3 - chosen because of either an extra half point or because they were the favoured side if the line was the same as Pinny and Pinny were shading).

Am I an idiot or is the extra point and a half (although DET+7 is +111 on Pinny) on Detroit worth taking non wong numbers on the others? Only small bets because I wasn't sure and am a teaser fish - the book has stopped doing single leg teasers unfortunately or I would have just hit that.

My book offers 7 pt teasers at -110. I notice the online books charge -130.
Is there anyway to take advantage of this other than just gaining an extra point more than normal ? (e.g. middling, crossing)

Ha, I've got Dolphins +8 in some teasers I did with the Ravens. Also bet Dolphins -1. Now the Titans are at +1.5. Put them in a teaser now too?

Yea I hate that. Everyime I check SBR I'll see bodog with like +7.5 when pinny has +7 -111 or something, then get all excited and log in quick and see +7 -120 or whatever. I cant beleive they get away with that.

That obv means you don't bet them next weekend. Key to being a wong expert is timing and only betting the good weeks.

Only in the most basic terms - each point is worth a certain amount of cover %, you need the multiplied cover %s of the two games to be greater than the break even percentage given the odds you're getting.

I'm not sure how to deal with the shaded lines on Pinny part of the equation though. Do I assume the shading is on the original (pre-tease) lines and that I adjust the cover % there (so instead of covering -3 50% of the time a team that is -3 -130 covers 52% or whatever) then add the value of each point?

actually, it's been lucky to have 3 weeks ago practically be an 0-fer and then sweep the next two weeks. If those losses had been spread out over the 3 weeks instead of all happening at one time, the bankroll would be a lot different.
