Pinnacle takes 25k on sides and quite often double that just prior to game time. You are truly clueless if you think you can fake full game sides and totals for 10k and have the line stick till 30 mins before post time.

ER definitely wins, but he also bets very few games. 12 seasons and +185 units lifetime seems pretty small.

ER also bets real early in the day when limits are lower.

I don't doubt that there are other guys who are winning betting NBA full game sides and totals, I do doubt that they'd win as much betting later in the day and they aren't somebody that I don't already know of. I know Z has some good handicappers and they win, but I'd put my sim h2h vs nearly anyone.

If you'd like to do a bet on total units won bet I think the fairest thing to do is stipulate some time when all bets have to be placed, say max. of 30 mins prior to start of game.

This way we can avoid market manipulation which is pretty easy to do earlier in the day (as others have pointed out).

I don't think you realize how hard it is to bet on US sports (except for NFL sides).

This can definitely happen. I think the main concern both parties would have would be the other side having access to each others picks prior to the games starting.

1. Force the book to be pinnacle or some agreed on book.
2. Give access to the username (so it never changes), give access to the password 1x a week for record keeping (then change password
3. figure out some methodology to prevent market manipulation (forcing bets to be 30 mins prior to post could alleviate that).

Ya that would work especially if it was later in the day to avoid manipulation. Its trivially easy if you are doing full game totals for instance to fake games in the AM and then come back the right way later on.

They don't kick out winners, they take decent bets and you can pop them multiple times. They've also been around forever and are often the first to put up lines.

They are definitely an industry leader in fact in 2014 or so they hired some new sharp guys (matt et all) to make their lines and it was one of the reasons why beating US sports got a lot tougher.

Right Angle has been known to do this with their FCS sides.
