At conservative estimate, there's around infinity+8 threads on this topic in this very forum.

Are you implying that fat people are as disciplined as skinny people?

Just because there are fat people working doesn't mean every fat person can...

I must have hit a soft spot or something since there seems to be a lot of fat people on this particular forum...

It's not hard to lose weight...just stop eating

Ive always been pretty thin, though I will admit Ive packed on an extra pound or two since settling down with my girl. And ive have always had a little bit of disdain for fat slobs tbh. But to assume that just because a person is fat they cant hold down a job is asinine. And this train of logic is legit ******ed:

"I doubt people who can't even hold a diet for more than a month could keep a steady job"

Ok so heres the original stupid take. Fat people cant keep a steady job. Got it.

"Are you implying that fat people are as disciplined as skinny people?"

No, obviously not on average. Thats not at all what you originally said though. Like not even remotely close.

"Just because there are fat people working doesn't mean every fat person can..."

I actually cant tell if youre being serious. How many logical fallacies can one person make? You said anyone who cant follow a diet for a month cant hold a job. Now you say that since EVERY SINGLE fat person doesnt have a job, fat people cant have jobs. I think youre a freak and a very weird dude

I've met several bettors from this forum over the years, I think only one would come close to qualifying as 'fat.' Most were surprisingly either thin or in good shape, possibly due to being younger.

is this where I admit I've held almost a regular type joob since 2010 as a steady backdrop for the 2nd joob of advantage gambling? I've always been too risk averse or I'd be retired already. Still on pace for by age 45. It would be sooner but the wife has even more of a risk averse preference curve.

For those who are fat, I'd like to say I sympathize because we don't know much about the body (complex real life systems are complex, yo, unlike the toy games we gamble upon). Diets have a >95% long-term failure rate and I don't think it's because we lack WIM. My own opinion is Dr. Jason Fung is on the right track. Watch his youtube videos and listen to the Obesity Code podcast. But, I got the cancerz so what do I know (though I attribute the cancerz to poor genetics from Vikings' incest rape, too much early life sugar, a poor childhood, a conflict between what I think is a virtuous life and what I do in action, and ruminating on the 3rd and 4th thing) with it being 1, 2, 5, 3, 4 in order of contribution.

I'm not entirely sure what you're saying but if I'm reading that right it seems like you need therapy. No shame in that.

If only there were tons of papers on eating less and moving more and its failure... look for yourself.

To those out there struggling, see dr jason fung. I only care with what works (sadly, therapy doesn't, except for the therapists' pockets).

I am fat especially compared to when I started doing this full time but really that's just because I like eating, particularly large amounts of unhealthy food, and don't like exercise. I suppose if there was any sort of genetic disposition to being fat, it would be that some people aren't able to overeat, and actually enjoy exercise.

I bought into the whole "exercise will give you more energy which will help you be more successful" but for me I just felt like **** even after doing it for a while and getting in shape. Both when I was working a regular straight job and when I was just gambling, the results were very similar. First of all it was a big drain on my time. Yeah, you can get decent workout results working out say 4 times a week for an hour or so but by the time you travel to the gym, take a shower after, change clothes, etc. you are looking at 6 hours a week. And if you take the time to buy or prepare healthy meals you easily could double or triple that time commitment. That is a decent portion of one's free time. I probably did have more energy but that energy was of the sort that I wanted to walk around, go outside, play sports, in otherwords the exact opposite of what I needed to be doing which was grinding out code and models in front of a computer at a desk all day.

I also tried the whole standing desk thing. I was completely braindead the month I tried it and later learned there were legitimate physiological reasons what that was so; if I ever run a company standing desks will be banned and I would never invest in any knowledge company where they were prevalent.

Most people who make big money at gambling could do other jobs well imo although the profession does attract a certain sort of degen crowd, for example the type of person who opposes healthy diet and exercise because it distracts them from gambling. The demand for people who can model and code is so high that even people who interview very poorly with a resume gap can probably get hired somewhere.

Its incredible the amount of excuses one can fabricate in order for not taking care of themselves. For every once of fat you guys have at least one excuse

My routine for instance is Monday Wed Friday 7 am coffe 7 30 gym/train 45 min shower back at home at 8 45 ready to work.Come on men

If you like to eat intermitent fasting gives you great room to enjoy meals (specially at night)whilst on a diet/caloric deficit

Either that or move a lot so you can continue to eat considerable amounts of food

All right derail time!

Best shape of my life here and improving.
BKB is too much fun. So much that i might be addicted. Glad i found a sport i could get addicted to.
When you start seeing and feeling the results is great you don't really wanna stop.
As for time consuming gotta say is true it drains your schedule. And when i come home from playing all i can do is take a shower eat and pass out (nap).

You do neglect other areas but health is the most important area.
As for eating unhealthy all you gotta do is go to your doc and get you some tests those tests will scare you and you will start eating better and better.

I am whole different person. No sugar, no soda, no junk food, no cookies no ice cream no nothing.
Only good stuff salmon, salmon and more salmon everyday.

Fat person has less discipline to eat and to exercise but they might be disciplined in other areas like family work money and business'

GL out there
