Just curious which ones a legit big time sports bettors vs the ones pumped up by social media.

So posting on a message board is suppose to answer that question?

People link that to their trading accounts with "an investor password", tracking all buy sell activity and you can see the balance / equity etc etc.


Would be helpful if there was some kind of similar service for sports betting, then there is no mistaking who is who as you can see clearly all trades, profit loss,

Billy Walters was generally considered the top dog I think, but he went to jail for some bull**** insider trading stuff with Phil Mickelson.

Harablos Volgarious, aka H-Bob, is widely considered the best guy now, but there is much debate about the true source of his income. Some say he was just a bookie. Some say he was the best NBA totals bettor ever. I think the truth probably lies somewhere in between. I sure would love to see a big bet between him and whoever doubts him though, as I generally find both parties to be insufferable.

There was a guy in here back in the day called rsigly who claimed to be a millionaire bettor and built a huge wax musuem in a bunker with a movie theater or something. He was weird. He invented the salad pill too.

Kelly in Vegas is an NFL betting expert. Everyone should buy her picks and her advice is great too. Love when she buy half points on college football totals to grab that ever important hook in the 50's.

Steve Stevens claims to hit 70% and I believe him. If you cant trust a guy named Steve Stevens who wears sunglasses in side, who can you trust?

"vegas dave" is another super star sports bettor. Sure, the haters will point out his photo shopping of tickets to make them look bigger and the fact that he only posts winners after the fact, but with a name like "vegas dave", whats not to like!?

And of course you have your random internet message board slob around here wholl undoubtably claim to be better than all of these guys. Dont buy it for a second.

Oh and my word - how did I almost forget easily the best NHL bettor this side of the mississippi? PROFFESOR ED!! A true genius. A god among men. A visionary, ed's vision is scary. Seriously, look him up on here and PM him questions about his system. He'll be more than happy to answer and questions you may have

I'm not sure who'd want to be part of that though: actual winners wouldn't have any reason to take part, and touts wouldn't want to do it because it'd prove they're not really winners

but would the top bettors be able to keep low key? given people talk even they guys placing their bets would sometimes, or one of their previous guys that placed bets.

Billy Walters was known because he let it be known and his runners let it be known. Once that cat was out of the bag he was hounded not only by the government but by every two bit gambler that needed a winner.

You always heard about his wins but never about his losses. The same goes for most touts as well unless they are transparent.

To answer the OP's question would be just pure speculation at this point, you can list yourself as the best if you wanted because no one would know any different.

No. Typically a site like that is paid by the touts to track them and track them favorably. It's called marketing and a way to get your unknown tout service out there.

These type of sites don't do this for free, think about it. The forum I do work for actually keeps track of numerous well known touts based on their big play releases. You'll find the majority of them are in the negative.

As stated earlier the best are unknown and want to stay that way. There isn't a reason for them to tout either. Quietly under the radar winning chunks of money and staying that way.

At the end of the day it's hard to know it's not like it's in most of the big winners interests to publicise exactly how much they make
