This is new to me but I'm guessing his online reputation is worth something to him so you can dm him about the situation and if he refuses to get involved start a slander campaign against him.

Create a website using his name, post it on sportsbetting forums, create a Twitter bot to message and @ all his followers telling them about the scam.

You have a lot of options here. Even if the bookie is legitimately someone else, he's 100% part of the scam. Him accepting the money confirms his role as the bank.

This is some good stuff and really comes down to how much is $13k worth to you

I sent via Transferwise to my twitter contact and he passed that over to the PPH guy.

This started in late April. My account got up to 12.7k and I requested a 5k withdrawal in July. He kept giving me the runaround and then passed me off to his brother, "he's going to send to you on bookmaker, my brother he's my backer".

Same story with his bro, kept asking me where to send on all sorts of payment methods without sending anything. Then this

"You'll get your 5k back as you are the same guy who stiffed me
100% same $
2016"

"I didn't take your deposit
So I don't owe you a ****n thing
Let me show you my Cris account
490k
I could give two ****s"

Obviously I never stiffed anyone. Idk if this is a genuine mistake on their part of they're just making things up so they don't have to pay me.

Thats brutal. And its not a genuine mistake.

I dont wanna pile on, im sure you know by now but thats a borderline shocking level of naiveté on your part. I would probably take a credit account the way you did but would never let it get it to 13k. Depositing onto a site like that is craaaazy. The only thing you can really do now is go after the twitter guy hard. Assume it was him all along and go from there. If youre a pain enough, you can prob get your 5k back at least. Hopefully. Dont lump all PPHs in with this though as this just seemed like an outright scam. PPHs really are a face to face kind of thing...people are really brave online and on the phone but when you see someone weekly and develop a relationship youll find that the odds of getting scammed go down drastically. Let us know how it goes. Whatever you do, dont give up without a fight. If you wanna PM me maybe I can help somehow.

Ill share a story since its similar and might help you feel better. This is probably my most embarrassing stiff.

A poster from 2p2 with something like 1k posts PMd once and offered to give me an account from bookiebuddy.com. Right off the bat I should have known. But the skin was a joke with super stale lines and props, etc. It was a credit account and I lost something like a grand the first week. I paid him and then won the next week and of course he vanished. I found out later actually that it was the infamous poster 'the bay area beast.' I also found out that he was making tons of new user names and doing this scam to other people. Hed also PM me under different names and accuse other people of being the one who scammed me.

It was really embarrassing though because it must have been super easy on his part. Plus the fact that I paid him once. If I won the first week and got stiffed it wouldnt have been so bad since it was kind of a free roll any way (I was gonna crush the acct, it was a joke) but he got the first 1 or 2k from me.

So lesson is...only deal with people you know and NEVER deposit. If credit betting with someone new always start really small and insist on settling up early and often.

Good question. The successful guys Ive dealt with almost always are doing it on the side and have either a laid back flexible easy job, or run their own company. They all dont know a thing about EV or sharp action or any of that, even the successful ones. I think its simply because theyve never had to worry about anything like that.

Theyre usually big, tough looking guys who work out a ton (Ive done so many pick ups in gym parking lots.) Theyre big into respect which is why I always say to be pleasant and easy to work with. Offer to drive to them for pick ups and drop offs and never be late. Also always have the exact amount, try to pay with 100s and not tons of little bills. Make it neat in an envelope. Stuff like that goes a long way. Try to develop a relationship, shoot the **** with for a few minutes every week. Once they know that youre not a stiff youll notice the relationship change, especailly if/when you have a big bad losing week and pay no problem. Theyre always getting stiffed and slow paid (always getting slow paid) so when you show up with 7k no problem the first time its HUGE.

The good ones also almost always have families too which is a good thing to look out for. An older guy with a family who runs a PPH and has been for a long time is what you want. Treat him nice and youll be shocked at how long they let you beat them over the head for. And its funny...when they finally cut you off they always are kind of sad about it. Ive had a bunch offer me other accounts with other people without me even asking, just because they feel bad about cutting me off.

Re: The Well - Like

Sorry everyone, but I have a few boring questions I was thinking about.
Like, before you got your job, when you were doing sb full time.
Did you pay for your own insurance?
Did you declare your income? Did you pay taxes?

Hi "Like"

A friend of mine alerted me to this thread. I have never dealt with you or "bookiebuddy", and I have not ever offered anyone on 2+2 a credit account. Not sure what this confusion is about or why you have stated it was me, because it was not me.

Could you post a screenshot of said private message so I can clear up this accusation? And maybe we can even help who knows.

Once again, Id appreciate if you would stop posting such things about me and Im genuinely curious as to how I got mixed up in this and who it was.

Also I see that you joined in March 2017. I am absolutely certain that I have never had any interactions with you at all. Could you please explain this?

Re: The Well - Like

You've discussed in some detail how you create working relationships between yourself, other sharps, agents, and bookies. It sounds like some deception has been involved, especially when dealing with agents and turning them out against their own bookie. Oftentimes you've been booted, only to find a way back in, betting the same lines at the same site with the same guy, with him none the wiser.

Have you run any elaborate ruses that you would like to share? For example, perhaps you've had to pretend to be somebody you were not? Borrow an outfit, a car, put on an accent, a disguise. Maybe you had to put in some weird bets to camouflage what you were doing. Any good stories there would be fun to hear.

Also, not sure how this hasn't been asked, but have you ever threatened physical violence to someone who wouldn't pay? Was it purely a bluff, or were there times that you would have followed through? If not, is it because of moral reasons, or the money just was never worth it?

I remember when Jon Kreta scammed some of us for tens of thousands of dollars, and I thought, "Surely it's going to be worth it for someone out there to track this guy down and harm him." I guess it wasn't, unfortunately. But you could see that happening. I mean, if you read in the paper that somebody got scammed by a large British bookmaker and sent a bomb to their CEO and she opened it and it blew her face off, you would believe that, wouldn't you.

Also not sure how this hasn't been asked, but what's the biggest exposure you've had on a single sporting event?

Best/worst week?

A time when a non-bettor friend realised the amounts that you are dealing with, and had a shocked reaction?

How open were you about the amounts you were betting with your ladyfriend(s)?

when you have accounts with so many locals is it a pain to drive around and collect/pay each week? how much time does that take when you were betting the most?

There's multiple threads and websites dedicated to his past scamming people using his real name, removing one of his aliases here went make any difference

Also don't see why you want to protect the fake identity if someone who scammed you

How long were you in Las Vegas? Why did you leave? Since you seem to have access to lots of people (gnomes) why not do more stuff offshore?

Like,

Why did you post that I gave you a credit account and scammed you?

And to the above poster, I had dealings with one person that went sour and its a long story. It was all fully paid back.

PWent sour... LMFAO

Jesus man, you come back here acting like a new person and yet statements like that show nothing has changed.

You make it seem not like you scammed people but that it was just a typo due to a case of the Mondays. I don't know anything about your dealings with poogs but there for sure is more than an isolated case and just a few days ago you yourself were commenting on the thread dedicated to you that the main victim of your scam still feels like you haven't repaid in full.

I'm not getting involved, I don't care. You didn't scam me. I wasn't there. Fubster possibly is being unreasonable, I have no idea. But it's outrageous for you to claim that everything is resolved and to try to paint what you did as a whoopsie.

Grow up and take accountability for what you've done. Either that or legally change your name because you'll never pass a cursory background check for the rest of your life until you settle up with those people and they take down the website detailing your scam.

Re: The Well - Like

Like is Poogs?

Poogs I remember seeing you post in here from time to time but I never had any dealings with you.

Rickroll, Im not saying I didnt **** up. I did. He was paid back in full though, completely and they are trying to exrtort me for self imposed penalties, saying I should have to pay his finders fee to another poster, among other things.

I was drinking and gambling a lot and I made some bad decisions for sure. But I never intended to scam anybody from the beginning in premeditated fashion, nor have I ever intended that ever in my life.

Fubster probably made about 15k on his dealings with me. If you ask me, yes he is being completely unreasonable.

Re: The Well - Like

A lot of the stuff posted on the website is completely false. Theres some stuff posted on there that are out of context and nothing other than a joke meant to just entertain people.

The whole thing is way out of hand and is personal. Its a massive group of trolls on OOT that have focused on ruining my life and its been going on for years. Even the moderators participate in it and will not listen to reason.

Its literally gotta be unprecedented in 2+2 history. The entire thing is a flagrant violation of this sites very own Code of Conduct and yet it continues. Its honestly mind boggling.

Rickroll you seem like a cool dude and it saddens me that you have this perception of me being some kind of serial scammer who was out to scam people.

I swear on the life of my entire family this could not be further from the truth.
