Sports betting became legal here in Colorado back in March. We have a TON websites to choose from, and most of them offer the new user promotion "risk free bet up to $500". You bet $500 and if you lose you get your bet back in the form of a bet credit.

I've found i believe to be 14 regulated sites offering this promo. So can't i just take opposite sides of an even money bet on two sites, cash out the winnings from one, and then just literally have a $500 free roll X 7 - $3,500? Or am i missing something here?

Bonus bets/bet credits typically only pay out the winnings not the stake so should be used on substantial underdog spots to maximise ev

Read the T+Cs etc itll vary by book but if thats the case bonus bets while still obv very +EV are not worth the face value of the bonus bet credit usually

I posted the same question a while back.

Essentially, get bigger dogs for higher EV. Or you can take both sides for lower EV but guaranteed money. I would love it if you would post your list of 14 books, I must be missing some.

Also interested in the list. To bet you only have to be in Colorado, not a resident, right?

Exactly. "Risk free" means very different things on different sites. The best deal is if they refund the lost bet as cash that has no rollover. Second best is if it's refunded in "site credit" or bonus credit. Then it has to be wagered on the site, but it acts like normal funds when you win (i.e. you get the full payout not just the winnings). And you can bet any amount on any game (not locked into free bets of a certain size) and use it to bonus whore to boot. This is basically 1x rollover.

Here's the list I have, i don't think they all have the exact same T&C as the above alluded too, and i think 2-3 had under a $500 offer but still a good overall amount to choose from.

BetFred ($500 "risk free")
BetRivers ($250 match at 1x wager req)
BetMGM ($500 "risk free")
Draftkings ($1,000 sign up bonus)
FanDuel ($500 "risk free")
FoxBet ($500 "risk free", $500 deposit bonus)
Pointsbet ("500 "risk free", if you lose that then $1,000 "risk free)
Sportsbetting.com ($1,000 "risk free")
Williamhill ($500 "risk free")

Will obviously have at some point soon here as they obtained a license, i think covid or incompetence slowed down the rollout.

Lodge casino dba Superbook
Century casino dba Circasports
Monarch casino dba Betmonarch (Your wagers earn casino comps, lol)
Wildwood casino dba Betwildwood ($50 "risk free)
Red dolly casino dba Elite sportsbook

I'm not sure if you have to be a resident or not to wager online, I thought you did for some reason but i could be wrong

I'm not sure where this landed but it's almost getting to the point where if you just have to be located in the state it's worth a weekend trip over to take advantage of all these... Especially with flights so cheap

Most books will only give you a bonus in one state.
