I think the point is you would/should (assuming you could prove it true) pay pretty much any amount, so long as it is in line with what your limits are for a per game bet total x number of games in a season where you can still come out ahead.

That is, assuming that the system would be more or less 1 and done in terms of it's effectiveness only lasting one CBB season. the OPs hypothetical scenario would be more interesting if you gave it a longer time horizon (a fixed number of years where you can maintain that hit rate.)

You'd get down whatever you want until you broke every CBB syndicate in existence. You think that no one gonna magically fade you when you push every line 3 pts?
