I find myself keeping track of Rangers games just for this system.

LOL maybe I jinxed it with my comment above. Without that comment it was a sure win.

well at least the -1½ system would still be winless too

Probably would've been better off if they were up 3 instead of 4 going into the 9th so Fran-Fran could pitch from the get go.

2008 Rangers: games within 2 runs: 72/162 (quick count) 44%

Edit: We are going to need a Rangers line -5 1/2 runs soon to get even

I pity you. They play terrible baseball. I turned down free club seats for a game last week. Plus Ron Washington is managing for his job right now, so I expect him to blow out 3-4 arms before the AS break.

Does any team see fewer pitches in the first 3 innings or score fewer runs when the leadoff man gets aboard? At least Chris Davis is 50/50 to homer or strike out. Makes for a great drinking game (with hemlock ldo).

Force Nolan Ryan to pitch again when said pitchers get injured.

TomG - Here's something to think about and some serious advice. Does it even matter to you what line you are getting when you bet TEX -2.5? You just operate on the assumption that the site/market is going to give you a line that has a positive expectation?

I mean...if the book offered you TEX -2.5, +130 when they were going up against an ace and TEX was countering with Padilla with his 8.27 ERA would you still think that line has value?

You just blindly take TEX at -2.5, +190 or +225 or whatever on any given night without even looking more closely at the matchup. You just believe that TEX has such explosiveness that they will win more of their games by a 3+ margin without even knowing what percentage they would have to win to actually have value in the line that you are getting.

Anyway, just trying to help. Congratulations on creating such an enjoyable thread. And that's all I have FOLKS!!

If you had MARTINGALED like I SAID you would be rolling. HOWEVER, there is still time! Throw out the little-used reverse Martingale tomorrow!! The bet is hothothot! Tomorrow is Matt "The Guy With The 1/2 K/BB Ratio" Harrison vs Jeremy "The Failed Ace With No Confidence" Guthrie! 3 units at least imo.

Yesterday's game went pretty much how I handicapped it--lots of scoring with either team having a good chance to cover the 2.5. In the end it was Baltimore which is good since that side had the larger payout.

We're going to close out the Texas/Baltimore series with a final 2.5 squeeze. Starting tomorrow, we will re-focus on the more simple, single wager of Texas Rangers -2.5.

Monday (2 Plays)
1 Unit on Texas Rangers -2½ +260 (5Dimes)
1 Unit on Baltimore Orioles -2½ +195 (Greek)
