Look closer. They lead the major leagues with 7 HRs in 3 games. So sick.

Again, the Phils -2.5 system is still better!

10-0 currently
10-7
7-4
9-3

I don't see how it can lose with the Greatest Rotation Ever in the History of Things That Rotate.

What are lines for Phi on -2.5 compared to the lines TomG was getting. Tex was projected to be a sub 500 team when this thread went down, making for lots of value on the -2.5. The same might not be said for the Phil and the greatest rotation in the world.

FWIW, the average (unweighted) line was Texas Rangers -2½ +254 on all recorded bets in this thread.

Are you really saying the 2009 Phils staff of Hamels, Moyer, Kendrick, Blanton, and Brett Myers was the greatest rotation in the world?

I was refering to your statement on the Phils this year.

this is the second time in reccent memory you mis-understood the context of something pretty obvious. read slower?

Phils 10-2 ez winner. Rangers playing well though, only down 5-0.

right, you should read slower because I was referring to the 2009 Phils. The reference to this year's Phils was a different part of the sentence.

Now, if you're ESL, I said the following:
'Again, the Phils -2.5 system is still better!'

The 'Again' means I was saying the Phils -2.5 was better in the original posts 2 yeas ago, and the 'still' means it is better today. Don't worry, most people in this forum can't understand simple Engrish, but this is the 2nd time you've misunderstood something obvious.
2009 was being compared to 2009, only a n00b would fail to see an apples-to-apples comparison.

Because if you go back and look at the original posts, you'll see my 2-yr old posts pointing out when the Phils -2.5 system was better than the Rangers -2.5 system. All you have to do is click on page 1 to read them, it's not that complicated. Enjoy!

Here you refer to the 2011 season.

Here he responds, saying the lines are probably quite different in 2011 compared to 2009.

Here you misinterpret what he is asking.

The use of are implies the present tense, hence the 2011 team.

The use of was implies the past tense, so we can infer the 2009 season.

Now if he said were, we could assume the past tense, and the 2009 season.

The use of are, were, and was can be quite complicated.

oh and here are a couple i got from a poster named oldman that use to post at mw. They are both progressive though so that may scare some folks away.

system 1 run a progressive system for the over to hit at least once during a Kc home stand. According to oldman you will be a winner 95 percent of the time.

System is the same but you bet for houston to win a game at home

Oldman's still around, I see his posts at SFW. You like those home/road series trends, here's a few for you.

Cubs win at least one any home series...119-8
Pitt lose at least one any road series...127-3
Colo win at least one any home series...124-6
Boston win at least one any home series...119-6
Yankees ^^^^^^^same^^^^^^^^^...119-6
Cleve lose at least one any road series...122-8
KC ^^^^^^^same^^^^^^^^^^^^...120-6

Enjoy the martingaling

Seems like if you had the roll you could clean up running a sr8 martingale against the pirates. Can't imagine them ever winning more then 6 or 7 in a row. It would take some brass balls though as you will likely face lots of -200 type bets.

100 to win 50
200 to win 100
400 to win 200
800 to win 400
1600 to win 800
3200 to win 1600

Yeah, they go on a six-game winning streak and you're suddenly betting $3,200 on a game.
