What are lines for Phi on -2.5 compared to the lines TomG was getting. Tex was projected to be a sub 500 team when this thread went down, making for lots of value on the -2.5. The same might not be said for the Phil and the greatest rotation in the world.

FWIW, the average (unweighted) line was Texas Rangers -2½ +254 on all recorded bets in this thread.

right, you should read slower because I was referring to the 2009 Phils. The reference to this year's Phils was a different part of the sentence.

The 'Again' means I was saying the Phils -2.5 was better in the original posts 2 yeas ago, and the 'still' means it is better today. Don't worry, most people in this forum can't understand simple Engrish, but this is the 2nd time you've misunderstood something obvious.
2009 was being compared to 2009, only a n00b would fail to see an apples-to-apples comparison.

The use of was implies the past tense, so we can infer the 2009 season.

Now if he said were, we could assume the past tense, and the 2009 season.

Seems like if you had the roll you could clean up running a sr8 martingale against the pirates. Can't imagine them ever winning more then 6 or 7 in a row. It would take some brass balls though as you will likely face lots of -200 type bets.
