5Dimes received the most action because they offer the 2½ on both favorites and underdogs. Even though The Rangers hit a lot of HRs, lines makers had them as underdogs in plenty of games.

I am willing to argue that keeping detailed records of your bets is the biggest waste of time any sports bettor makes.

My productivity and EV have skyrocketed since I stopped giving a crap about the above.

I'd agree.

depends whether it is a value added activity or not

this mainly relates to whether keeping good records helps you on the path to other profitable subsets

i will say a bad start to 2010 has me doubting a couple things, whereas if i didn't have the numbers in front of me, i probably would assume i was up a small bit.

Wasn't that a playing time issue more than raw projection issues?

they screwed up the run environment and they messed up babip by double counting defense or some ****. they probably have those fixed by now but bpro is currently being run by a bunch of clowns so **** them anyway.

if you don't like PECOTA, maybe you like these better

Bill James - 24
MARCEL - 23
CHONE - 18

all more relevant than his career homerun total

i like chone and marcel is fine for what it is although you switched them. james is even more lol than bpro.

but i think discussing baseball projections in this thread is kind of missing the point
