Made a big bet on heat +310 before series started. Obviously game 1 and injuries further complimented how bad a bet this was. Figured it was a bet I would eat and realize how dumb I was (LeBron hatred probably was too strong). Any suggestions on how to mitigate losses here? Was a little surprised that game 4 isn’t closer to 9 or 9.5

I bet them too. When your teams best player and another starter go down in Game 1, you're going to have a bad time. It all boils down to how you feel about Lakers series -1000. 0EV+ hedges aren't just for when you're in good.

Yeah obviously youre looking for interesting ways to hedge out. But with they lakers up 3-1 hedging becomes difficult, hedging was probably more of a possibility before the bet reached this stage.
