Padilla's fastball is on target as was expected. Come on Rangers let's see some runs!! I felt so confident I ended up putting a little more on this wager. Although a gentleman does not discuss the size of his unit, I felt like sharing this time.
Quitting now would be a sucker play - we are due. It's like we got tails 10 times in a row - you know to balance things out we are going to get a bunch of heads soon.
I've been gambling for a long time, folks, and I can't remember a string of luck this bad. Yesterday it took a while for me to calm down after the game. Eventually I calmed down and objectively speaking, I still like what I see. Yes, the Rangers only put up 2 runs yesterday. But both of them were off SOLO home-run shots. There were several instances of bases full of runners in yesterday's game. If a few things were shifted around and those home-runs were hit with runners on base, then it would have been a totally different result. The Texas Rangers HR-to-Runs-Scored Ratio is why I like the Rangers -2.5 so much and that hasn't changed.
