This is one of those coded posts that reveals a great nugget on how to beat sports betting that every one talks about in this forum, right?

So sick, you just knew Hamilton would have a huge night too after that comment, 2 for 4 with a dinger. Keep us posted when the other players think they'll get hot at the plate Tom.

Well in fairness Chris Davis also homered so he's running a little hot because there was absolutely no notification of Chris Davis expecting to get in a groove.

Guys, the Rangers have IAN KINSLER and JOSH HAMILTON. There's no way this system will fail.

Another loss. Worst system ever imagined, hands down.

Chris Davis is one of the best sluggers in baseball.

next year you may want to switch units to win amount, not risk

In other news, the "Fade TEX -2.5 system" is undefeated and I've been parlaying each win to the next...

If I win three more times I can buy a ticket to a Yankee home game!!!!

That might not be a bad idea...the "Fade Texas 2 1/2 system"...LOL

Not sure which books offer this, but I may start it for comedic value and keep you updated.

I'll let you folks in on a little secret: Texas has hit a major league leading 29 home runs so far this season. Think about that and how some teams are more likely to beat the run line. People who bet the Yankees -1.5 on Wednesday know what I'm talking about.

Well, last night Josh Hamilton and Chris Davis each hit solo home runs. This is a good sign as the Rangers are showing power against one of the better ball clubs this year (I respect the Jays).

Baltimore is a totally different type of team. When the Rangers played the O's earlier this month, both teams combined averaged over 18 runs scored per game! Folks, this is what we call an "over series" (bet the over in each game of the series).

Our play today will take advantage of the high scoring nature of this game. It's also a safer bet since either team can win and we'll still make money.

Friday (2 Plays)
1 Unit on Texas Rangers -2½ +258 (5Dimes)
1 Unit on Baltimore Orioles -2½ +215 (Greek)

Updated YTD: 0-6, -7.0 units, 7 units wagered, -100% ROI

I might piss myself if I come home and see either the Rangers or Orioles won by 1 or 2.

It's nice to finally find a forum where if you put yourself out there and try to discuss a system of wagering that tons of people will jump into your thread just to make fun of it. You would be suprised how rare that is. It makes this forum tops. I'm glad tha veterans of this forum are so helpfull. I would choose to ridicule too before offering any advice or discussing the topic like an adult. That's why this forum is here right? Either discuss the system properly or disregard there is no reason to go out of your way to make fun of someone.

The sample size is small.. we aren't making fun of OP, we are laughing at the cruelty of variance.. get a clue buddy!

Also, Tom has been on these boards a long time.. he understands it... he wouldnt post it otherwise..

Everybody knows he is just running bad right now. Expectation was established in the first 8 games, ldo, and if the next 154 games don't conform then it's just variance.

Wait for it to move to -2.5 imo. That quarter point might be important.

I definitely don't think it's just "variance" (that word is thrown around WAY too much on 2+2; there's a difference between statistical variance and simply a bad bet or play)

OP has a squeeze on tonight where his best case scenario is winning .58 units, while risking 2.

Theoretical EV calculation: (being generous as well, mind you)

Orioles -2.5: 40%
Rangers -2.5: 40%
Probability of 1-2 run game: 20%

EV = +.58(.40) + .15(.40) -2(.20) = -.108

WP, OP.

LOL at those who can't handicap games and resort to implementing these "systems" that always resort in an epic fail, much the above 5 pages.
