Btw regarding Sharapova, I don't think she was gassed (the match vs Alize was nothing special... there was only 1 set actually... the second one; I also think she should have much more energy in the tank than, say, Radwanska). I think this is some kind of a mental problem with her... happened vs Knapp, vs Cornet and vs Cibulkova... easy first set where she is completely on fire and than, there comes the trouble and the unforced errors...

As for Halep, yeah, she may have been nervous but I also saw her previous matches (vs Diyaz and vs Jankovic) and I think she just isn't in her best form... She was still good enough to beat them two though. After the match with Cibulkova, she told the press she is most probably going to get a coach shortly and I really expect her to come back on fire soon.

But anyway, I agree with you to some extent and also think Na Li is the favourite... I just think 3.40 (odds rised up a bit more at some point lol) is good enough to place a bet.

This just reminds me of the Lisicki/Bartoli Wimbledon final a little. Bartoli not a GS champ like Li but she had been there before in defeat and she clearly had the experience edge. Lisicki had never been there before, never this far and it was an entirely new moment, an entirely new level of pressure even she wasn't prepared for. She had the deer in head lights look and Cibulkova is a bigger mental case than her. Thus far she has done an amazing job to keep it together but if it comes unraveled or starts to in the slightest I see it doing so in dramatic fashion.

How do you scout the challenger event type players?

difficult to say....those are just players ive been following for long time being a bit in the tennis business....i know some personnally...i know some of their coaches or where they trained....¨how they train....i know most of them since they are juniors or even younger...etc...etc....after that i studied their game more in details on videos....also using the notes ive on them for long time....and also following most of the tournaments and tennis news and result every day!!!....but i try to stay humble cause i know very well its never easy!!....just try to do my best!!!

yes i wd dare calling myself a tennis expert!!loool....but really not at all in an arrogant way!!! i was quite a good junior player in my country a looooooooooooonnnng time ago!!!!loool...but never made it even in my dream at the professionnal level...i played college tennis in the USA at the university but not division one level(players at this level have already a few atp points) but i played division 3 which is not that good but not bad.....i also know quite a few people in tennis(coaches, players, pros at big tennis academies in the us and in europe, etc)....after saying that im not friend neither with Federer(but i hit balls with him once!!loool), Nadal, Murray, Lendl, Edberg, Sharapova, Williams or Mouratoglou or Bob Brett!!looool....anyway i just try to do my best with my own little knowledge of that sport!!

i really think he can win this match....Stan is big strong and has was lacking him a bit, now he is very confident....but let me tell you that ive seen him a few time practicing live and his ball is very very very very fast and heavy BOTH SIDE!!....and the big lift on the one hand backhand that really bother Roger will bother Stan less cause he is much stronger....my fellow swiss is really a rock and he is moving pretty well....i may suprised other but for me Wawrinka will be number 1 in the world in around 2 years...Federer wont last, Nadal will go down for sure(and even at his best the swiss can beat him for sure), he can beat Djokovic for sure on a regular basis and i dont see any other player who will be beat him in the future.....for me Wawrinka number 1 for sure in 2-3 years for sure!!!

i like him!!!!....especially on clay against a south american who is better on hard court than on clay in my opinion!!!...on clay Lorenzi can do it for sure!!!
