Hi,

since theres a (general) Football betting thread, i guess it would be interesting to have one about tennis as well.

I find Federer at 2.75 and Djokovic (Mr. Run Good!) at 4 to win ATP Barclays World Tour Finals - London (GBR) - Hardcourt.
I think Djokivic is a value bet. Any guesses?

the main tournaments have stats on their sites but mostly for their tournament only

Hi guys,

what you think about:

Del Potro 1.55/ Verdasco 2.29 - Isnt Verdasco slightly overvalued here only because he gave Federer a hard time?
Federer 1.65/ Murray 2.1 - I think Federer is a value pick, since he knows Murrays qualities better then Verdascos... The line stinks like "but he had a hard time winning against Verdasco..."

Do you really not have any bookie you can use to get better odds than those? The overround on those prices is really disgusting.

Murray at 2.10 seems like the only one that is close to value, but I would pass on all of them

I am not sure exactly how best to go about it but organization would help a lot in this thread going forward. For example the day before an event all thoughts on first round action could be posted 8 hours before first match. That way everyone has a chance to weigh in on the discussion.

MEH MEH MEH! Whenever I have a good pick either nobody takes my action in the microbetting thread or i do some stupid mistake. Bad enough I did not get the best line at all at bwin...

What do you guys think bout that Del Potro Federer match? I mean it was somehow clear that if Federer won this one set (meaning hes in) Del Potro would fight as hard as possible... But somehow the line did not get influenced by that I feel.

Unfortunately not but if youre really in to it eurosport has some reviews and i think you can reread the live ticker.

Match was insane, his cross court forehand is simply terminating. I think the line judges get extra money because of the life danger...

I watched all of Wednesday's and Thursday's play live at the venue

Del Potro / Federer was definitely the most enjoyable match of the bunch to watch, some unbelievable hitting.

I can't actually remember how much the tickets were exactly. They all had £46.75 printed on them but I paid varying amounts for each - even though I bought them through the official site :s Think it was about £60 on average for each - and you got 1 singles match and 1 doubles match for that price, so not too bad tbh - they were all in the lower tier and completely clear view of the play.

Counting on Pennetta to beat Cibulkova today and Wickmayer to beat Date Krumm . Pennetta would face Schiavone or Cornet in the semis if she won today , I think she shouldn't have a lot of trouble with either one if she wins today .
Wickmayer has easier opponent today and could face Peer or Kirilenko in the semis , both are beatable .
If Pennetta and Wickmayer don't face each other in the finals I think atleast one of them will be there and should be favored over any opponent left in the draw .
