Hopefully no letdown from Cilic after his easy win over Murray , I don't see anybody winning 3-0 sets here . Counting on a tiebreak , so if there is one we would need 25 more games for a push which would be possible in a tough 3 setter like 7-6 7-6 7-5 but is rather unlikely tho . 25 games in 4 sets match : 3x6games =18 games and we would need 7 more games from the loser if its a 4 setter with one tiebreak in there , 7-6 4-6 6-2 6-1 would get a push .
Those two have met this year at Australian Open and Del Potro won 3:1 sets with 40 total games . Largest play at this US Open together with Acasuso over Ferrer as 3.00+ few rounds before . Neither player has been broken in the previous round which is very impressive considering they have played against two strong opponents : Ferrero and especially Andy Murray for Cilic .
Hopefully Cilic wins the first set , 7-6 would be perfect but this line seems bit too low , Del Potro is heavy favorite but if Cilic can play aggressive like he did against Murray he might keep it closer than some think , as long as he wins one set I think atleast a push is looking very good unless he would lose a set to 0,1 or 2 games .

He was 6-4 3-1 up and now dead all out of sudden , Im done with this US Open , cool 14-2 games run for Del Potro .

Wow that was really weird. Cilic was dominating with winners for the first and a half set... then delpo challenged that ace which wasn't in and mindfkd him or something. It was painful to watch how Cilic was missing those forehands from that point on.

Such a bad way for the Swewna Clijsters match to end, was a good game until that, now I feel gutted even tho I was backing Clijsters.

god would make so much money if you could bet on these events unfortunatly couldnt get a bet on anywhere, even the girls singles as soon as it moved indoors anyone who knows the up and commers had to be sure watson was going to have an easy win vs the THAI girl making it between her and robson for the title (buchina made the final but watson cruised her)

made some nice coin on del potro tonight backing him 3-0 and 3-1 (if it got to 5th set couldnt really see nadal losing imo (apologies on the aftertiming)

Can't speak for happyguy but I would not like to wager much on crap like the Moselle open, not enough at stake for the players which tends to throw up all kinds of weird results.

Start of next month has the China and Japan open which are both decent events (and clash afaik) then the masters series in China as well.

Yep , thats the case . I don't like betting on those small tournaments nobody cares about . Some people will show up for paycheck , some to play and I don't want to try and figure out who is in for what .

Betting in-play a lot on betfair during the matches cuz it's tough to trust players these days in smaller tournaments .
Been watching as many matches as possible in the last few weeks to see what form players are in so hopefully it pays off in the upcoming tournaments.

Like this one a lot tonight .
Cant see any other winner here but Monfils , he lost to both players who ended up winning the tournaments : Davydenko and Tsonga in the last 2 weeks . I've watched his match against Tsonga and on that day Tsonga would have beaten anybody , his serving and super aggressive play was amazing .
Hewitt on the other hand is getting old and his movement is not what it used to be , also he seems to struggle with his backhand . I've seen him put the ball in the very bottom of the net a lot when he tries to play backhand to the right side of the court , this could be because of the issues he has with his knees when he puts the weight on it .
In general Monfils should be way too solid on his serve and with his power , Hewitt tends to throw bad games in there with a lot of 2nd serves and this will be taken advantage of by Monfils . Watched Hewitt's match against Isner today and I must say Isner is a horrible player when he isnt playing on the US fast courts , anybody in the top 200 would have beaten him . Also last week Hewitt was anything but impressive in his loss to Youzhny , week before that he has lost to Joachim Johansson in straight sets who hasn't played tennis in 5 monthes .
I believe this is a very good spot for a large bet and odds are much better than I expected to see here .

This is probably the most interesting thread I've read in this section. Never really knew anyone that bet tennis; but I'm now very intrigued.

Whew , he had me worried there . In the first set it looked like he was playing half asleep but slowly got into this match , same scenario as his match against Wawrinka last week .

Was able to trade out $1,000 insurance on Hewitt at one set all , so would be 650 bucks risk if he lost in the end .

Blake lost to Nadal last week by 4 games but I think this is a great handicap , if Nadal wins the coin toss he will most likely pick to receive and if Blake wins he will decide to serve first . This would almost guarantee him to stay within this handicap even losing in straight sets , each set by 1 break ( 4-6 4-6 ) for a push , I think he can take a set off Nadal tho or maybe even beat him , I didn't like the trashing Nadal received last week from Cilic .
