Does this make it easier to understand or do you think this can only have been pure luck ?
Oh probably neither . That these figures must have been doctored or that previously I must have lost a fortune yes?
(In fact I have had three losing years since I started betting accumulators on outright markets for a living in 2004.
2010,2013 and 2016 and the total losses in those years did come to a lot.
Just over £400,000 in fact. Very painful and chastening. But the one in 2010 came after a long period of winning and never having experienced a big downswing in so many markets at the same time and the one in 2016 occurred because I changed my strategy to take advantage of bet365s new cash outs only to find I was having huge logistical problems cashing out the bets I wanted to cash out.
In 2013 I lost a small amount because Brentford missed a last minute penalty in the last game .
Had they scored I’d have made over £150,000. They then proceeded to lose the play off final as favourites when that too would have netted me £150,000 profit)
Funnily enough before I saw your comment I’d just sent a message to a friend in which I said that this season is really straightforward and it staggers me that so few people will do even one parlay on outright markets over this period when there are so many opportunities out there begging to be included in multiples.
Betting singles on soccer games and matches is a ridiculously hard way of making money from sports betting by comparison.
And even if you are able to you soon get gubbed !
I mean honestly what’s the point ?
