seeking NFL Supercontest partner (previous 6th place) seeking NFL Supercontest partner (previous 6th place)

Hello,

I am seeking a partner for the Las Vegas Westgate NFL Supercontest. I will be in Las Vegas September 9th to sign up. We will be splitting the entry fee and the proxy fee because I reside in Southern California and can not make the picks on my own. If you live in Vegas and want to save us $ on the proxy fee, you can enter the picks every week at the westgate. Total cost will be $850 each.

I finished in a 3 way tie for 6th place in the 2013 Supercontest. My team name is All You Can Eat.
I received $56,870.00

I would like to make every pick, every week. Unless you can give me a good reason why that shouldn't be the case. I feel on top of my game and have a very good feeling about this year.

Medical bills have piled up on me and my family or else I would not be in this scenario looking for a partner. If you are interested I am happy to put together a contract that states all of the details and we can both sign it. I am happy to meet in vegas and pay half and half, or accept your payment via bitcoin, or mail me a check, or cash deposit into my bank account.

I can also provide proof that I am team All You Can Eat.

Thanks!

Do you think you're +EV in this after proxy fees and the newly instituted rake?

Hint: You're not

The majority of the competition in this contest has been very weak. Given the fact that I have a 6th place cash for over 56k, I don't think you're in any position to make your hint. I'll be the first to admit that the rake is a huge disappointment.. However we're paying this in poker tournaments as well. Even if you could convince me that it's -EV, the entertainment value makes it worth it for me personally.

Fezzik won this thing twice and is currently selling picks for $1 to get by. Anyone can luckbox a cash or two. I've cashed multiple times for 3-4x more than you and am also an elite professional bettor who does well modeling the NFL, and even I am probably barely +EV under the current structure.

It's fine if you want to do it for fun but trying to pass yourself off as +EV to attract a partner when you aren't is disingenuous.

" I am probably barely " you don't sound very sure whether or not you are or aren't.

So you're saying that I shouldn't have mentioned my previous cash? I've had success in this contest in the past and I'm going to state that. I'd like everyone reading this to understand that it's very difficult. However I believe signing up with me will give you an increased chance to win. I do my homework as well. What names did you cash under? can you please provide proof? Thanks.

LOL @ me for not running a sim to determine whether my EV is $+20 or $-5.

It's fine that you mentioned it. It's also fine that I pointed out how meaningless it is. Most people here get that a good gambler would never panhandle for a $850 stake, but I felt like chiming in just in case.

I could, but I won't. I'm not the one begging for a stake.

I'm not sure what the point in all of this was.. I'm not begging for a stake, I'm giving someone an opportunity to team up with me, and if no one is interested I'll pay the full fee for myself. I have had major health problems which have caused me to dip into my bankroll. Lucky for you that you've never been in an unfortunate situation.

Anyways, I'm still looking until the 9th if anyone is interested. He clearly isn't and should have just been on his way. I figure there is someone out there that wants in on this because they're in another state and can't make it to Vegas.. or various other reasons. I understand that the rake can defer you away. But I'm going to continue to play it and I'm certain I'll have another large cash soon.

Iowa. I don't understand the criticism here. He is looking for someone to pay half the buyin for half the payout. He cashed before. He wants to make all the picks. I don't see anything wrong at all with his post. Yeah, it's silly he said, "have a very good feeling about this year." But that's pretty harmless. I really don't understand the hate

He is selling season packages for $550 on up depending on what sport it is. While it is true he will on occasion sell a pick for a $1 it's to attract new business.

Not sure what your motive is on banging on the OP. He can back his claim to cashing, you refuse to. That says one of two things, you are either full of it or need to go look up names that have cashed multiple times for more than he has and claim to be them.

Most forums have a pretty hardline against solicitation. Given that most people think these posts should be deleted, and this one isn't. I think its only fair that knowledgeable people have the chance to comment on something the layperson doesn't know about.

I take time out of my day to prevent people from being scammed by blockchain enabled sportsbook idiocy. Iowa! is doing the same thing for people who don't understand the SC and the relevant details.

I have no problem with the thread or with Iowa!'s posts or Mihkel05's point either. I think the discussion is fine and thread is acceptable. 2+2 has a staking forum with rules, etc. threads with people soliciting to join their contest/pools have always been here. Plenty of scams with both but plenty fine too. I don't think allowing these in sports betting for a major contest goes much against the 2+2 norm from other forums. For poker it is more organized and moderated, but we're just a small sub here. Having these imo is fine (if was a lot we'd contain them to a single thread) and warnings and criticisms are fair game too.

If op is going to be bashed for this post, then this forum should just delete all these types of posts to begin with.

I guess op should've said, "I've cashed before, but I think I'm probably -EV because of the 8% fee this year."

I can vouch for buildhigh, I know I don't have lots of posts here but I've been posting on many forums for 15+ yrs with positive reps, regardless what you decide he's legit and did finish the 2013 SUPERCONTEST like he said he did.

Is this like how others refer to their "positive reps"?

Or like my positive rep.

why only vouch and not just invest your money

if i knew of a great investment why would i vouch for someone and not get in on it myself

sorry for questioning but the whole forum is on edge now because of all the scamming and i can't see anyone else i know get hurt

I am no longer in need of a partner. I am going 60/40 with a friend. This thread can be deleted.
Thanks
