Re: SBR Discussion Thread (SportsBookReview / SBRForum)

I'm not sure those were rulings or not, though if there was a ruling against a sponsor it would of been BetOnline.

The $65K confiscation I got temp-banned at SBR for asking questions and not being satisfied with SBR's ruling. Lou and a couple suspected ghosts more or less called him a scammer. That one was a lot of people posting and demanding it be added to the newswire. It was then that they paid the player. But I wrote free articles for like 8 sites to cover that. Others were posting it on many forums. There was a ton of heat. At that point BetOnline reversed their decision and paid.

The one with the hacked poker account that the hand history was eventually given. Lou was pretty brutal in defending BetOnline. That was another where after heat and forum uproar BetOnline decided to pay.

The one with calm's balance hacked, SBR seemed to wait it out and just follow up. What happened behind the scenes I'm not sure but I don't view that one as having been a ruling.

I view the other hacked poker accounts where the complaint originated at 2+2 the same.

Wilt's case for $26K was similar. However here is one SBR might have helped expedite it. This is one I probably give SBR the most credit for but we're talking well known on forums pro who also writes for websites and worked for a training site. Also C.S. (YouWager) appeared early in the thread to vouch for the player's honesty.

The one with where the poster admitted to chipdumping $50 in a transfer, and they confiscated small 5 figures from him (saying the player confessed) - in this one I believe the player was likely involved in something shady. What? - I'm not sure and opinion has no relevance in arbitration, he might of been innocent of all wrong doing and just does not write well. I don't believe SBR handled that one well, and where did this ($12K?) go.. I'm not sure. Who did they refund. Did they profit from it etc. I don't know.

They have however assisted a few times. For example mathdotcom John helped with getting him a transfer at one point and he had some slow assistance. That one however involved my all time favorite post (see post #4) which about sums up the SBR BetOnline issue.

As far as actual "rulings" I'm not too aware of any. They do assist and many didn't need rulings because after debated or it was obvious SBR assisted (and credit to them for that). In the actual complaints that go more to what's like an arbitration, I don't recall a time in the past 365 days that SBR ruled against a sponsor while that sponsor disagreed (it might happen).

I do know however several where they just turned the player away quickly. Tremp vs. Horizon and Dan bouton vs. 5Dimes are two examples the player wasn't given the time of day. (Horizon is associated with Heritage; a sponsor). I've expressed it to both Justin and Nelson Rose in private but SBR's handling of Cory1111 vs. Heritage tilts me. This has nothing to do with innocent or not but the process.

Re: SBR Discussion Thread (SportsBookReview / SBRForum)

Well ideally there wouldn't be a need for rulings like that- if the book tells the player to pound sand, they talk to the book, and the book fixes it, they've done their job... mostly. The whole sponsors never making the newswire and never saying anything when the same book repeatedly attempts to steal the same way is bull**** though. They have gotten money (and helped get money) from sponsors to players in the last year. All of that pales in comparison to the blatant robberies, upgrading scam books with open disputes, and keeping BI at B when they knew the place was bleeding heavier than a horror movie.

Re: SBR Discussion Thread (SportsBookReview / SBRForum)

I was IP banned at SBR the day before BI bombshell was dropped. Emailed justin7 and he sent me to Scumbag LOU, who has yet to respond. I can't load anything related to sbr ;tools, odds, etc etc. I am disappoint I will not be able to click their links and lose them money in the future. I suggest all winning players who want some form of retribution click their links when signing up to books.

I wonder how many accounts they banned the day before to try and minimize the **** storm they knew was coming.

SBR has been getting worse and worse with their disregard for even seeming objective in disputes. Lol at their actions in the dan dispute, corey w heritage it goes on and on

wiper shes not attractive (4-5.5 pic angle makes it tough) and i hate and wish bad things for her but shes not ugly enough to go after her looks.imo

god i hope so. there has to be info out there that would bring this about. how many people have it, who knows, but it has to be out there.

i mean, we're basically sure that they at least partly "owned" betislands, right? the backer was them, right? even if they didn't OWN it, the profits were being sent to sbr via affiliate paychecks..

Re: SBR Discussion Thread (SportsBookReview / SBRForum)

New BetIslands' article with more data leaked.

From November 7, 2012 to December 18, 2012 - SBR referred players deposited $171,571 via P2P and paid $7,993 in P2P fees for a total of $179,564 spent posting up to BetIslands during this period.

The reason for this date range being significant is explained in the article. There's also a spreadsheet that shows the deposits by time stamp, clients ID, method, amount, fee etc, included.

Awesome work prop. Did you write this one or merely edit? Would it be wrong to assume Jon is giving the info?

Interesting...

Do you know if they succeeded or not in getting any winning players removed from BP's sheet?

Here's a rundown of what happened to me at BP

1. signed up through SBR banner (99.5% sure about this)

2. won money

3. withdrew max check

4. Logged into my BP account to see my account was hacked and that my available balance had been bet on multi-team parlays.

5. I opened a complaint with SBR. SBR poster pjesnik had a complaint open at the same time. He was from Europe and I didn't know him. But he also had a 5-figure balance and had requested withdrawals recently, so I assume he was a winner. His hacker had intentionally lost money in the casino (my casino access was locked because I had heard of earlier hackings - about 3-4 other people had been hacked and all got their money back from BP)

6. SBR got back to me telling me that they had found something interesting... that both "pjesnik" and I had the same affiliate, a guy named "Alvin Ma". Neither of us had heard of him or had any idea how he was our affiliate.

7. SBR suddenly starting going out of their way to clear BP and pin the blame on me. They wouldn't mention Alvin Ma anymore. They tried to say I had weak security and that the hacking was on my end (strange coincidence that 5 different people from all over the world were taken down by same hacker, who SBR suggested had broken into my local wifi lol).

8. SBR announced that pjesnik and I had both clicked on a malicious link on 2+2 forum, and our computers were compromised that way. They ruled BP didn't owe anything.

9. pjesnik pointed out he had never used 2+2 forum. I wrote to 2+2 and of course they had no idea WTF SBR was talking about. SBR changed the story but wouldn't talk about it in depth anymore. They cut off all communication. All they would say was that BP's system was not hacked, that the hacking was done on my end (lies).

So now I am thinking... maybe SBR DID get BP to move some winners off of their sheet. And that is how I wound up with "Alvin Ma" as my mystery affiliate. And he of course went into my account to lose money so he would profit. I was later told that when these types of hackings occur, it often involves the affiliate (who sometimes has your password)! If this was what happened, it would finally explain SBR's behavior. I knew they were acting in a corrupt manner, but I assumed that it had to do with protecting a sponsor or CR friendships... Now I am thinking these winners were moved off of SBR's sheet and they didn't want to talk about the affiliate connection anymore...

Brutal.

One thing I can say is that ive met a lot agents in the local world aka affialites in your world, and all of them understandbly despise being buried in make-up. Its like cancer to them. So to think an affialiate would break into a winners account and dump money is pretty on par from what ive seen. Just my two cents.

Re: SBR Discussion Thread (SportsBookReview / SBRForum)

Okay like 40ish posts have been deleted. Let me recap in one single post. There was a long discussion about Sheri's looks then debate of appropriateness of the discussion.

Then PonytrickOne joined to post picks of Sheri. He made this comment:

It then took him many attempts to post these images.

Some people commented she looks like a drug addict in these photos, others said she's just a pawn in SBR's game and it was inappropriate to post these etc. There were curse censors circumvented and all sorts of short comments.

This is a redo - please avoid making 15 low content posts. If you want to comment on it fine but please keep it closer to appropriate and reduce the back-to-back-to-back-to-back one liners.

So this is:
Derailment of thread with discussion about Sheri's looks take #2 - go ahead if you must.

Re: SBR Discussion Thread (SportsBookReview / SBRForum)

I got a permanent bann from sbr today for no reason. I have not even been posting for a while. I then decided to post the article that was done on the 28th a few days back because it was a good summary of my story. I requested sbr to comment on j7s statements of them dropping the ball and silencing him. A poster (raydog) then asked me a ? Today. I responded to it and then I was banned permanently for no reason stated! What the heck, this is just a blatant cover up of my complaint. They r so shady it's sick! In my mind this only makes them look worse!
