DSI Sportsbook Downgraded to D+
By SBR Friday, December 8, 2017

On November 27, SBR reported that a DSI Sportsbook player has had a balance of $23,832.17 in limbo since August 4. The player's account has been frozen for withdrawals since that time.

DSI's position is that the player is wagering on behalf of a third-party. The sportsbook has been unable to substantiate this claim. The player maintains that his account is his own and that he can speak for all wagers placed. SBR asked if he would be willing to be video interviewed on Skype; the player said he has no problem with this and shared his Skype username the same day.

A manager with DSI offered to place the $23,832 balance into an escrow account while the player's identity undergoes further verification. No time-frame has been offered on when or how this verification will be conducted. The industry standard is that when sportsbooks suspend accounts for allegedly being connected to other users — such as a player who was previously barred or limited — evidence is produced such as common wagers, IP addresses, or other material links that establish the flouting of house rules. No such evidence has been made available. A sportsbook is free to close an account for any reason whatsoever, but cannot withhold winnings based on hunches rather than facts.

SBR questioned the player on if he has knowledge of any friends who have DSI accounts or who may have placed wagers while at his home. The player said he knows of no otherDSI account-holders and maintains all wagers were placed by him from his home, where he has resided for the life of his DSI account.

DSI Player: "I really just want a hard set date as to when this will be resolved. It has been [4] months. I don't want to keep calling them and emailing you. I don't want to keep hearing the same old we are verifying your account, we are updating our system interface, etc. It's the same story from them every week."

He posted the details of his complaint at a sports betting message-board. Earlier today, a forum user responded to the thread that he has had a $11,000 balance in limbo for two months. SBR requested additional information from the player and is in the process of confirming the details of this latest complaint:

"I have been getting the same run around as you. Pretty much identical situation but for slightly less money. I’m owed 11k and have been trying to request a withdrawal for 2 months now. They wouldn’t give me any specific answers to my questions, just bs generic responses for weeks up until last week where they stopped replying to me completely," wrote the player.

A third complaint was shared from a player who reported that he has been waiting more than three weeks for a $1,500 payout. SBR is looking into this issue, and asks players in need of assistance with DSI to submit a sportsbook complaint form.

SBR cited complaint handling as one of the outstanding issues that have surfaced since the sportsbook went independent on July 9, 2017; DSI previously utilized the resources and services of A+ rated Bookmaker.eu. Due to the severity of the issues and the absence of evidence to support withholding funds, DSI's rating has been adjusted to D+.

I am checking now to see if SBR did take up DSI's offer to have the money put in escrow. Really hoping they did. Will update shortly.

Damn, has a book ever gone from A+ to D+ that fast?? I love how they give them the plus too. Like what would it take to get that to a flat D.

Good luck man, that sounds horrible. Its brutal that they even feel like they can get away with something like this, never mind actually pulling it off. I didnt read the whole thread, what was your initial deposit? How long did it take you to run it up that high? Why didnt you start withdrawing sooner, like around 10k or so?

At least SBR is helping, whaatever thats worth these days. I was actually thinking of opening a DSI account since the pph game is a little light at the moment. I absolutely will not be doing so now and I hope someone from DSI sees this.

I have deposited and withdrawn many times over the past 2 years playing with them. I had recently withdrawn on their new interface so that gave me some confidence to run it up to 24k and BookMaker who I called assured me that DSI was going to continue operating the same as before and vouched for them.

Betislands went from B to F in 24 hours at the end of 2012. Internally, SBR employees were fighting to keep the rating afloat so they could encourage more sheep in to depositing money. This resulted in them initially downgrading to C for less than a day so they could try and recoup their personal balances at BetIslands. When they realized they were helpless as well, they were downgraded to an F.

Elihu Feustel (linkedin profile) was a major player in the theft/scam. He should probably be in jail. The rest of the cronies are hiding out in costa rica driving around in range rovers while their kids enjoy private education.

Heya, this is Elihu Feustel here. I post as daringly in a lot of forums.

Do you know something I don't? When you say "I should probably be in jail", that suggests you have hard facts suggesting I did something wrong. Please share all.

Let's not forget you moderated SBR under your Justin7 ghost account.

What was your most embarrassing moment

-suing Groovin for directly quoting your book
-claiming a random SBR post under your ghost account saying you regretted writing something in your book meant any future quotation of that book passage constituted libel
-arguing that Groovin was a Thremp ghost
-arguing that cdmx is Groovin

He similarly told people privately to get out of Cascade or WSEX (I forget which) while SBR hung that A rating and he was the head dispute guy at SBR (under his ghost account)

My most embarrassing moment? The moment I realized that arguing facts with a troll that lives in a delusional alternate reality was a futile waste of time. But we live and learn.

Which of the many advantage players critical of you are you calling "a troll" as in the singular?

Do you deny telling people privately they should withdraw their funds from either Cascade or Wsex while that book was rated A by SBR and you were in the employ of SBR?

What the same page looks like now (note the posts which quietly disappeared):https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...omplaints.html

As far as I can tell, SBR have completely stopped pursuing complaints anymore, unless it's regarding a book that they can shakedown for money. Ironically, this actually reverses their ratings. If you have an issue with an A or B book, you're on your own, because SBR is very unlikely to assist. But they'll be like flies on **** if you make a complain with a C or D book, where they can use your complaint as leverage to beg for money.

Since Optional is now posting here,

Are you aware of this case where asianconnect tried to blatantly steal over $100,000? It was a few years ago, but still as relevant as ever, given they have never reached out to me to apologise, nor to compensate me for the amount I ended up eating in necessary fees in desperation to get my money back.

You can read about it here: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/4...s-too-1610458/

I thought it would be good to make you aware of it, given that people follow your advice over at SBR. You made a post today over there, which I would call inaccurate, given the specific details of what happened in my case.

1. I did not try to trick them.
2. I gave them real KYC documents.
3. I did not lie.
4. I did not try to cheat them in any way.
5. I did not access any of the bookmaker sites from the USA.
6. They did try to steal from me, and 100% would have followed through had I not contacted several different organisations in this industry, including the assistance I received from SBR.
