So Mississippi began sports betting a couple weeks ago with bets being allowed on Mississippi teams. Someone mentioned the possibility of regionalized betting lines being used on those teams. I was wondering if this has ever been done before anywhere and how good an opportunity it would be for an impartial bettor.

I don't do a lot of SB, but the idea of fading these teams all year seems interesting and fun.

Do you mean betting against the local team because all the locals betting on their team has forced the odds the other way? Years ago that would likely have been a nice earner, with betting exchanges I doubt it's possible now. The bookies will just lay off the unwanted liability on betfair or whatever the local equivalent is.
