Why don't you want to deal with bookies. There are literally thousands of them in the US doing great business, and any big city will have a handful of major operations pumping out well into 7 digits of annual profit. I have had more headaches dealing with casinos than bookies.

I don't know any bookies and the thing that worries me the worst is getting stiffed. I hear countless stories about this where guys get stiffed. Which is why i made sure i dealt with reputable books like thegreek and pinnaclesports only.

Also, im pretty sure that after a few weeks when they see that im not a square, they will probably not want my action anymore.

What I don't understand is why is it hard to get bigger amounts into the sportsbook?

Those books left the US for a reason: the gov't made it too hard to transfer money. You need to setup outside the country or you have no chance.

Probably so.

If case not though: OP you should PM poster Drewphish2. He was originally from New York too but he moved to Canada. He bets large too, is curious about same books, and also likes to make long posts. You two should maybe connect and compare notes.

Actually, I hope he is okay. I haven't seen him post in this thread in a while. If you find out if he is okay, please let us know.

I was on Bodog and now im on Bet365. What a difference. So much more
to choose from on Bet365 plus live in play it just destroys Bodog.

But.... of course there is a negative. You can cashout via bank wire only once
a month for free , if you do it say weekly you get charged 10$ which is
crazy .

I played some parlays during football season in excess of $5k (spread out of course).

Can you tell me or private message me these bitcoin sportsbooks? How do i get funds in there? What can you wager on in these bitcoin sportsbook? Can you bet sides, moneylines, totals in any sports? Im only concerned mainly with nba, mlb and nhl. I assume other stuff like props and stuff like that are not possible?

Also what is the juice on these wagers? Are they going to be like pinnaclesports with -105 pricing or is it standard -110 or better? What about totals? What is the juice? Baseball and NHL moneyline... is it going to be like pinnaclesports with 10 cent lines or 20 cent lines like thegreek?

I'm going to assume you know zero about bitcoins, which is a digital currency. You first need to buy bitcoins (BTC) with your cash. You can do this with through a web site like coinbase.com, or find a local person to transact with. It is completely legal to buy, sell and own bitcoins.

Once you have the bitcoins in your electronic wallet, then you can move them easily in and out of the books as needed.

Instead of me spouting off a bunch of bitcoin books, visit the bitcointalk.org gambling forum and see which books are listed. There will be feedback on each.

Lines are very good, competitive with pinny lines. There is also an exchange that has no vig pinny lines with 1% commission. You can bet almost anything sports wise, although props are harder to find as is live betting. However, there are sides, totals, ML, parlays, derivatives and futures.

Make sure you learn the ins and outs of transacting BTC before you get into the betting. DO YOUR RESEARCH.

Good luck.

Yes i have zero knowledge about bitcoins. I have heard of these before when reading online but it sounded like something that really confuses me as its digital currency and the price of it went very high from what i read. I checked coinbase.com and price is $794.64 at the moment. So if i buy 10 of these, essentially i would have $7946.40 that i can wager online in sports? But then someone said if these bitcoins fall down... then the amt i have left is then what it is? That sounds pretty darn risky since all it has done is gone up.How do you buy bitcoins? How do you pay the other person? I assume bank transfer would be fine? I assume if you buy it off of someone as oppose to the site its a bit cheaper? So if i wanted to buy $50000 worth of bitcoins, i can do a bank wire or cashier check and buy 63BTC?

I heard these are anonymous but i don't really care about that. Would cashing out be simple as you sell them and then you get the funds directly to your bank account? I will check out that forum. Thank you.

Yes, bitcoins are considered risky because the price has fluctuated quite a bit this year. But in my opinion, if you want to bet significant amounts online from NY, this is probably your only option. (I say this as I'm also from NY state.)

I have used coinbase to buy almost all of my BTC and you can buy/sell up to 50 BTC a day once you are top level verified. When you sell you get the funds deposited into your bank account. No wires or bank checks.

One nice thing about betting with BTC is you won't get limited or cut off. And there are no deposit or withdrawal fees for transacting with the sports books, no limits on the number of times (or how often) you can withdraw.

My experience has been very positive.

Why u dont just use reliable agent for asian bookies like ibcbet, ******, 1***** etc. U will be able to place bets 10k+ on bigger markets without any problems. Maybe asianconnect.

thanks for that information. Can you pm those bitcoin books that you PM the other guy?
yes i have heard you won't get limited from it. When you say funds deposited into your bank account, you mean like an ACH/Echeck withdraw?

I checked and i read that bitcoinsports.eu is a scam site and lot of ppl didn't get paid and got scammed. How is this even possible? i had checked that site and it seemed legit.

If you buy/sell BTC on coinbase it is done through electronic bank transfer - yes, like an ACH transaction.

I would recommend the following BTC books:
-bitbook
-nitrogen
-btcsportsmatch
-btcsportsbet

I have had no problems using any of those, customer service is also responsive.

I had used bitcoinsports.eu in the past, but stopped about 6 months ago when people started complaining. Their limits are tiny anyway (about 3 BTC last I checked).

Again, good luck.

Just jumped in at a new bookie Kashmobet.
Bonus is 100% on first deposit and 75 and 50 on second and third dep. I got 60 for 60 EU plus $20 from their promo. Rollover is a bit high but we'll see how this goes. I bet mainly on soccer and nba, btw.

Topbet experience for US:

(Friend advised to not include so many details, so shorter, edited version):

3 for 3 in getting the check in timely manner via Fed Ex and money clearing in 1-2 days via smartphone app deposit.

I still can't believe it went as well as it did, but it seems TopBet (previously connected with the people who ran FutureBet) is legit for right now.

Thought I'd share for any US players considering that site.

CS was fairly decent as well.

I pretty much only use Heritage because they have great lines, better than most books. They also offer the lines on NBA the night before which many books do not. Last but not least, fees may vary, but Heritage is reliable on payouts, and peace of mind is important.

That being said they are a private book but do open them up to new members on occasion. I had been with them for years and tried to get a r/l friend membership there with no luck. 5D is also reliable.

Do sites like Bovada, or any other reputable online sites that accept USA players offer over/under win totals for MLB? I know that none of them are offering anything now, but will some open up before the start of the season?

I would have thought for sure that they would, but I can't find any place giving win totals outside of Nevada.

Thanks ahead of time.
