Can anybody chime in with how often 5d requires verification of account? They are asking to verify again before I can transfer (have transferred to others over 10 times) and basically said I will need to do it every three months. Seems absurd to me but thought I'd check.

that is not the norm in my experience. maybe they changed their policy recently or they are suspicious of your account for some reason

Sigh. Some books/pokersites allow you to withdraw or transfer w/o verifying but 5d wants me to do it 'every three months or so'.

Paula: yes
Paula: Just a moment, please.
Paula: which is your relation with this player?
5d*$&: he is a friend
Paula: ok
5d$*($: I ve sent to hime before

info: Your chat transcript will be sent to *&$%@gmail.com at the end of your chat.
Paula: ok
Paula: it has been completed
5d(*%$&: Thank you very much Paula. Have a good night.
Paula: You're welcome.

So after 2 days and one identical verification (used same pic of cc I sent them in August), 4 live chats which this last one took over 30 min to get through, I have completed a player transfer on 5d.

Not a huge deal but it is a pain when you arrange a trade and the guy sends $ and you try and ship to him and this **** happens. Might have to dan711 em if I find that 10 team pleaser that pays +40000.

Last edited by GoDeViLs; 03-13-2013 at 11:24 PM. Reason: +400000??

Thanks. I hate to sound scared and paranoid but I assume depositing via WU is a common method these days? I've never given it a shot but I doubt my credit card will work for depositing.

IrishFrench, they do not keep offering bonus to winning players. but yeah quick math on a windows calculator you can double check for mistake:

Assume you do parlays to get 75% of free play converted to cash (most don't do this and therefore free play value is MUCH less - but let's just go with it). Deposit 16667 to get a 2500 free play (1875 cash value). Rollover is 76,668.

With bonus factored in using -110 and lower of stake + win to count as rollover:

50% winner finishes down 1958.
53% winners finishes up 2872.
55% winners finishes up 6091

To compare we staked 84335 to meet the rollover. If we did the same at -105 then.

50% winner finishes down 2008
53% winner finishes up 2932
55% winner finishes up 6225

Losing players are far less likely to maximize the free play value so that comparison is way off and most are far better off with reduced juice. Also the higher win rate one holds the more value reduced juice has - but no question - benefits of reduced Juice = cash out anytime, no rollover to meet, get it always as opposed to a bonus etc. There could be some times with future deals where given an option bonus might make sense, but to anyone that applies to they'll have no trouble figuring that out.

I remember reading reading similar chat about verifying every 3 months at 5Dimes withint the past few days. (player asked if have to do every year and they said no every 3 months. Maybe was from you at another forum I forget, if not then someone else was just told the same.

Yes WU is standard

I might be missing something obvious, but why is it better to use free plays on parlays? I dont really ever bet parlays

With a free play you don't get the money back if you win. At odds +100 (2.00) when betting $100 cash you get back $200 ($100 stake + $100 win). Bet 100 Free Play to win $100 and you get $100 in your account. Win or lose the free play is used up you don't get it back. By betting free plays in parlays you get to use the same free play multiple times.

You have 100 free play bet it at -110 point spread. On average win 90.91 50% of the time, then expected free play value is 45.455 (45.5%).

Let's say you want convert free 100 free play to cash with a point spread arb. If you stake 100 Free play to win 90.91 at bonus site, at the other site you would stake $47.62 to win $43.29. If either bet wins you have $90.91 in cash. Your profit is $43.29 and therefore free play was worth 43.3%.

Instead you arb it with parlays where the games are 1) A vs. B 2) C vs. D and 3) E vs. F there are 8 3-team parlays possible. These are ACE-ADE-ACF-ADF-BCE-BDE-BCF-BDF. bet 12.50 free play to win $75 on each. One wins 100% of the time so you get back 75% guaranteed.

Ridiculous player asks one question "hey where can I bet online in my country" and gets the responses he got in that thread. If anyone feels like being helpful point this guy to this thread here to get his questions answered.

Bet365 and Betfair have many players from Pakistan, both have agents too. These are good sites for cricket betting. If just casually betting is many trade services for funding skrill and can open an account direct. While these are the two I suggest pretty much all the major UK books don't have the anti-pakistan bias the posters in that thread have. All the cricket bookmakers book plenty of bets from Pakistan. Also if betting something other than cricket, use BetCRIS. Can deposit in Skrill and get paid in cash transfer. If any challenge, chat support is sometimes hit or miss, but email version of support is pretty good on country specific issues.

Anyways. Like most everywhere, online gambling in Pakistan is not a huge issue from home+internet if done smart and is tons of options.

I wasn't sure where to put this this question so i hope this is the right spot.

I was having an argument with a friend - If you're booking and have a stable of squares you aren't looking to get a 50/50 action on a spread bet right (for NBA/NFL). I can't imagine the LAL/PHO game last night had balanced action. With a 20 cent line set don't bookmakers just take a position and sweat it out right?

Would the same be true for a sport like NHL with primarily ML bets? I wouldn't think it would be possible to balance action to the line probability. If CHI/COL closes -151/139 at PINN I would doubt 41.84% of the money is on col in this situation and they have a position on col?

hey man, from where im at, I always go with them.
First of all they have a range from different kinds of sports, but they focus mainly on soccer. Trust me, they have almost every game in any league there is for that sport.

I was actually surprised to find a LOT of league games and stuff.
I was customer of other online sportsbooks and I had the best service from them. No bull**** no delays no hassle.

No late payments and felt secured with them. I enjoy playing the asian handicap for soccer games because I got more chances of winning and, like other people, it makes the game more exciting.

If you're not into that, they still offer different games that suits your taste. the minimum deposit to start betting is 20 euros.

They always offer the best football odds.
p.s. The fact that they are the main sponsor of West Ham United means they're all good.

Bovada.lv is the American facing site, since bodog.com has been seized by the US Dept of Justice. Same company AFAIK.

Up until now, I have used local bookies that run offshore accounts. The problem is every single bookie iv had has shut me down for winning too much (i know, tough problem). Typically i may play around with 15-30k per week. Anyone know of good websites? Also how does it work? credit card? paypal? help

Step 1: Move to Vegas
Step 2: Take all their money.

15-30k per week wouldn't even cause a blip on their screen.

Did everybody else get banned from betphoenix before winning much of anything without wagering on nba nfl sides and spreads? After winning my dispute that's referenced in the chatter thread, I went into my account just a moment ago to find the dreaded "please call in" message. Basically got told my college bball, futures action, and golf betting wasn't wanted and my account is closed. I never even got a warning to start betting major sports. I thought betphoenix was the type where you could win 30k at least before they cut you off?

Does this mean I should just kiss betmania goodbye too or is it ok to run up funds there?

i got a two ncaaf bets in on a saturday morning before they cut me. then they enforced the initial rollover requirements with my new limits. both these places are a joke. if you have to pay a fee for withdrawal at mania, it won't cover the expected value of the bets you're able to make before getting cut. and whatever you do, don't take a bonus or you'll be clearing a $10k rollover 50 dollars at a time

Well I knew when I deposited not to expect it to be the sort of candy store Richard Jones ran it as 3-4 years ago when they got 7 figures in the **** and had plenty of guys with 40k-100k accounts and up. I still thought they were deep enough to allow about a 30k threshold or something. This sucks

And yes I took I bonus with both months ago. Not sure what I have left to work off. This should be fun

Has anyone here who's successful with sports betting had any issues wrt accounts being closed or bet size being restricted due to success? Or is this pretty much unheard of?

If you constantly get the best lines they offer or consistently beat their closers (or just win) your bet sizes will be limited at all books besides pinnacle and few asian books. Cost of doing business.
