So you are saying to just not bother with betonlines bonuses then? Only reason i would use them is for signup and reload bonuses and hope i lose the balance on betonline and then win on matchbook/pinnacle...

No, I'm saying the risks progressively increase. That's all. Do what you wish from there.

Can someone here update if betonline still does this for the old rollover policy once you bust your account?

My Opinion is this. The longer you do this, the larger the future risk of someday being ****ed with a massive rollover is. Why do they have the policy they do now of manual resets when requested as opposed to just programming it that way like it used to be? When you're asking because want to deposit $2K more sure reset (at least on paper, mine came back). But, when trying to cash out $50K well, now that $41,374,389.32 in rollover might suddenly be enforced. So while still good, bonus whoring here is a progressive risk. I'm speculating, but that's my opinion on it.

were you bonuswhoring betonline?

I merged the BetOnline stacking issue here, because that bumped post was a year old. As I already said in this thread:

Their software stacks rollover. If you insist on a reset they will reset it. Things are often not hassle free when dealing with them.

What is the "safest" chico network book? I might put them in as my 4th poker network (American) b/c Intertops has no traffic anymore. So:

BetOnline
PaynoRake
TigerGamer
Gearpoker
PokerinCanada

Not sure if they all offer a book - but I think they do

thanks

Historically none of them have been good. BetOnline is only way I can answer that though. They're by far the biggest, might even own the network, and stand the most to lose with PR hits or w/e should they steal.

Correct, I did an interview a recent interview with their affiliate manager and to be fair - they have not had any incidents in regards to their poker room for over two years. I do considered them the best site on the Chico network (not saying much, however), and the games are fantastic (much fishier) compared to other US sites.

Still, it is worth betting a few games in the sportsbook here and there to be safe. Their poker room tables have a blackjack table attached to the side of each window/game, something that as far as I have seen is not possible to disable. Their check payouts are still taking 1-2 months and as PropPlayer mentioned you often have to fight with them for promotions you were promised and stay on top of them with your withdrawal requests.

They have a live chat button that is available 24/7 in the poker client that is one click away. Their WU/MG transfers are much faster than waiting for a check or wire. They take just 1-3 business days but can come with hefty fees. Hope this helps.

Hi all. I have quite a few questions about offshore betting in the US and would like a few answers. I would give a summary about me first as i think this is very important for my situation.

I use to bet sports recreationally back online in 2001-2004 but did bet decent amount of money and was a decent size winner. By recreationally i meant i had a job and did this on the side for extra income. The sites i played on back then was pinnaclesports, betjamaica and thegreek. I did very well on betjamaica over a few month span and they told me to join thegreek since i was winning good size amounts and i wanted to get more on games. I have never had any problems with them. Always had a payout no problem asked. Pinnaclesports was pretty much the same, i would just cashout from the account to neteller and then transfer money to my bank and it would show up in 1-2 days if im not mistaken. Around 2005 or so i decided to quit my job and bet sports full time. Reason was because i was making more money betting sports than i made at work. I did have few losing months during this time span then but then who doesn't. At the end of the year, i was always up a good amount of money. I wagered between 1000 to 3000 a game mostly from 2002-2005. When i started in 2001, i was betting $50-$100 a game to start out and then got a very lucky streak in a few months where i was then starting to bet 500 a game comfortably. Hit a few parlays which gave my bankroll a huge boost.

Around 2005, most of my wagers were between 2k-5k. I mainly bet on the nba and mlb. I had a very good year in 2005 and decent 1st half of the year in 2006 but i decided to take a break as this kind of took a toll on me. This was around june 2006 and then in the next month or so, i just withdrew all my money from pinnacle and thegreek and decided to look for another job which i found within a few months pretty easily. I found out online later on then neteller funds got seized and i thought wow i got to be so lucky because i got nothing there because i withdrew everything a few months back. I then read neteller left left the us and there was no longer an ewallet left. So i felt like i got lucky in that i got my funds out on time. I recently got laid off and really considering going back to betting sports offshore but i have quite a few questions since its been so long. First off, i read that pinnacle sports and thegreek is not allowed in the us anymore and there is no ewallet.

1. I done some research and the only usa serving books left that are good are 5dimes, bookmaker, heritage, youwager, betonline. Can someone tell me here if these books are safe?
The thing is i would be betting decent amounts and when i called 5dimes, they told me i could do western union deposit for 1500 dollar max... which would serve no purpose to me. I used to withdraw 5 digits no problem back when i was doing it in pinnacle/thegreek... it took like 2 days max if my memory serves me correct and there was no charge at all.

2. I would want to get at least 100k into the books and possibly more. When i was doing this in 2002-2004, i had on average 100k between pinnacle/greek. When i was doing it fulltime i had 150k-250k balance on average. Would i have problems getting this amount into the us books left. Also, are there books left that would take 2k wagers no problem all the time? I read that heritage and 5dimes limits you once you win 10k or so when i did some googling.

3. Withdraws. This is what concerns me as well. I checked the sites and every site but bookmaker seem to do not big withdraws. 5dimes i check only do 3000 dollar check withdraw and so does heritage. I would not be withdrawing 3k at a time. Of course i have no problem withdrawing 3k, then 3k etc if i could get more. But is bookmaker the only site that i could withdraw 5 figures without problems? If im withdrawing i would most likely be withdrawing 20k minimum at once. I also checked and the fees for bank wires are very expensive. Such as $600 for a wire withdraw. Is that true? I just remembered when i withdrew, everything was free unless i wanted to withdraw more than twice in a month from pinnaclesports to neteller but even then it was only 15 dollars more.

I'm also from NY and i do not want to move. I know that if im in Las Vegas, i could bet there legally but i always been an east coast person. Been to vegas many times but it just doesn't suit me. I also don't know any locals, and i doubt any locals would accept me if i start winning 5 figures in the first month from them. Can someone give me some advice on which book i can go with? I also read that every book in the united states limits you except bookmaker. Is that true? The only book that limited me was betjamaica and then i moved to the greek and greek and pinnacle never limited me even though i was making a decent amt there for quite a while. So im not aware of limiting as i played at the 2 pro friendly sportsbook from 01-06.

great first post. i think it's probably too much of a hassle to get much money down on us-facing books these days. but what i would suggest, is find this guy brian laverty. you said you're on the east coast. well brian laverty is a major player on the east coast. he is based in some small wealthy town in rhode island, i forget what it's called, but i can look it up if you need me to. anyway he is on most of the forums, you should be able to find him easily (as long as he doesn't owe you money! lol)

he's a guy with a bit of a troubled past, and also a pretty serious mental disorder, but regardless, i'm sure he'd be happy to take your action. if i were you i'd tell him you're looking to start for maybe 50k, maybe half of that on credit, and just see what he says. like i say, the guy is reliable besides a minor hiccup here or there, but who in this business hasn't made a mistake right?

think his real name is brian somethingelse but shouldn't be hard to find, he's white a little chubby and a terrible dresser

I cannot private message if that is what you mean. I think it has to do with my new post count. Its been a while and i had an account on 2p2 back in 2004 or so and this site look completely different than it was back then. Back then the sportsbetting topics were much much different than what i see now.

Also why did my thread get moved here? I was looking through my posts and don't understand why it was put into this thread.

Is he some type of bookie or something? Because i don't want to deal with bookies.

I only want to deal with online such as back when i did with greek and pinnaclesports.

What I don't understand is why is it hard to get bigger amounts into the sportsbook? I found out from heritagesports today that i have an account with them because i had a greek account for many years and im transferred to them. I spoke to them on if they take bank wire deposits and they said no and most send western union or moneygram. Then they had to mention about the $1200 limits, which again is useless to me.
