For those who aren't familiar with this guy, he's Pregame.com's flagship tout. Pregame is RJ Bell's web site. Everyone knows touts are con artists but, for whatever reason, in August 2015 Pregame decided to bring in a respectable 3rd party to track all of his picks. If you want details you can read more on their site but IMO it's legitimate. The guy tracking it doesn't do him any favors.
COMPTRBOB tracks YTD profit/loss in terms of units (-110 base odds) but it's not the easiest to follow. And since they reset every January 1st you can't immediately see the overall profit/loss from the beginning.
So I scraped it. The tracking starts on page 4 of the thread. The thread is in the "Everything Else" forum. The previous guy who tracked Fezzik's results, who was apparently shady enough that they brought in this guy, left with a +22.01 YTD profit. I zero it out at that point and go forward.
That's +41.52 units over 4 years and change from Pregame's best. He was in the red as recently as July of this year. So remember that if you ever feel the urge to pay these people for picks. God knows how much people lost once you include what they paid Fezzik and RJ Bell.
In fairness, breaking even at -110 probably does put Fezzik in the upper echelons of the tout world, but after four years I think we can put to rest the myth, too often sold to casual sports bettors, that Steve Fezzik is sharp. Actual professionals bettors are fat guys you've never heard of. They aren't salesmen with greasy hair, web sites, and radio shows.
