On one of the sportsbetting websites, I have somehow, ran a promotion up to a decent balance. However, I am still ways away from hitting the rollover.

Would it be possible to do this...

take half of my balance and bet one side of a game and half on the other side. I am guaranteed to lose some money but it would help reach my roll over much quicker.

If i did this 3 or 4 times, I would definitely lose a good chunk of my money (30-40%) but the roll over would be met and since I didnt actual deposit any money, this seems like a good trade on my part.

or is this not allowed?

Check the rules for the sportsbook your at. Typically this is not allowed.

update: not using the strategy I asked about in the OP, I now have enough in my account to cover the rollover, even if I lose every bet, and still have a decent chunk left.

does anyone have any experience trying to cash out after meeting rollover? Im worried that they are going to make up some excuses as to why I wont qualify. or is it as simple as "meet the rollover number, and your money is now available"?

am I missing anything else that I should know about?

Try asking their support or specify which book it is - a lot of them post their rules

Assuming it's a legit book they should let you withdraw once the rollover requirements are met.

Why don't you just bet big on a bunch of games, then the opposite side on a different, legit site. That way if you lose them all on the legit site, you clear the rollover and can cashout the original site, and if you lose them all on the original site, you can cashout of the legit site?

It’s sportsbetting.ag if anyone has any experiences with them? How legit are they?

But I’ll also contact them and see what they say. I’m expecting a lot of excuses from them and/or to have them make getting a withdrawal as difficult as possible.
