We are basically debating whether the Ga State bet should stand. Ga state was a 4pm game so not technically an "early slate game". Steve had confirmed all other swaps for later games (also his slate had all games that started at 3:30 or later so idk why the post about early slate games).

Steve thought i said Ga southern (which was a noon game) and not Ga state which is why he didnt confirm. Had he seen that it was ga state, he would have confirmed it

You made the mistake here not him. He didnt confirm your bet. Doesnt matter his slate had later games as long as it was before the early games kicked.

If i were steve, i would let it be action and ask for action in the future (he has no risk of getting angled here so if you would have lost you would have paid out)

If steve doesnt want to honor the bet, I dont think he has to or is bound to or anyhing. I do however, think for sake of thread in a one time instance, it's the right thing to do.

We agreed to let mgb decide. Crispy didn't get the answer he wanted so he posted his side itt without conferring with me. Doesn't sit well with me.

I agree with that above. MGB has more important stuff going on than ruling a firm arbitration I know so that’s probably why he’s response said to ask others if needed. Too should have gone to you first for sure before posting.
You don’t owe him the other bet for sure. You owe him a college football swap though.

If you grade the bet notice the time and you win are you posting that the bet is no action? Only you can answer that and whatever the answer is, is the right thing for the thread

lucky good points. if toocrispy's side loses, does he come back after the bet and say "hey man i realized the 4 pm start time was too late for early slate to lets cancel the georgia st bet" ? obv not. he's honoring it if he loses

if georgia st side loses then does steve bring it up? i hate saying this but i think he stays silent

ummm i wanted to post before for transparency sake and you told me not to so i waited until after mgb responded

My main point of the post is to not have some ambiguous stuff like this happen again. I dont see the point of even posting "early slate only" when the remainder of your slate was after 3:30. especially when you confirmed all the other swaps and admitted you would have confirmed my swap if you had seen georgia state and not southern

I didn’t tell you not to post. I asked you why you agreed to let mgb decide and then posted in the thread. Of course I knew zeta would do this. Also you told me you didn’t see early slate but now it’s ambiguous?

Even zeta, who is on my ass nonstop, couldn’t bring himself to say it should be action. Thanks zeta. Appreciate you.

you can book other people wants, or book other people wants with swap based on swap criteria....

i mean if his swap was something outrageous like a ping pong ball match or cricket match, then yeah id say the swap is no action. i dont think the 4 pm start time for an early slate makes this an outrageous swap choice.

we know steve saw the swap soon after toocrispy posted it. the part that makes me suspicious is why did steve did not mention the 4 pm kickoff issue when steve posted in thread 6 minutes after toocrispy's post
