I think I am struggling with the logic of something and maybe people can help me because I am rather livid at the moment. Today, I bet a KHL game. There was a 3 way money line - Team A; Team B; Draw. I bet team A. Game was 2-2 at the end of regulation and the team I bet won in overtime! Yay. Betonline considered it a loss and after speaking with them they state in their rules (buried 5 links deep at the bottom of a page) that the game "for betting purposes" only counts through regulation and overtime is irrelevant. Thus, because the game was 2-2 at the end of regulation it is a loss. So, basically, you can win a draw bet even if a team doesn't draw. This logic baffles me. I tried explaining to them that if I had better La Liga or Premier League in soccer of course a game can end in a draw and that draws happen enough where it is a third possible outcome. Unlike the NHL, the KHL I believe can end in a draw so of course you can bet that outcome as well. This isn't what happened here as Team A (my team in this case) won in OT so I assumed that was a win. Okay maybe I am wrong in my thinking and yes, I understand it is BOL's rules and they hold the power and yes I should of had better understanding of three line betting, but am I wrong in my thinking? You bet a draw line because you think the game will end in a draw not end in a draw with 15% of the game to go. I don't know, just irked.
thanks in advance and thanks for listening.
