I'd be lying if I said I wasn't just a little bit scared when it was 17-0 after the first quarter.

Has anyone thought about Week 16 yet? I assume by then people will have picked the top half of the league or so, whats the play, SF? or save ATL if you still have them?

Here's how my Survivor Picks have gone/are projected:

WEEK 1: New Orleans
WEEK 2: Washington
WEEK 3: Baltimore
WEEK 4: Indianapolis
WEEK 5: New York Giants
WEEK 6: Green Bay
WEEK 7: New England
WEEK 8: Chicago
WEEK 9: Seattle

WEEK 10: Minnesota
WEEK 11: Dallas
WEEK 12: Atlanta/Philadelphia
WEEK 13: Cincinnati
WEEK 14: Pittsburgh
WEEK 15: Denver/Arizona
WEEK 16: San Francisco/Atlanta
WEEK 17: San Diego/Denver

I still have 7 out of 16 people remaining in my league...The gap between the top and bottom teams has really allowed people to hang around...

I still have BAL, it looks like they are the best play in week 14 (hosting DET), which opens up PIT in week 13 (hosting OAK), which leaves CIN for week 16 (hosting KC).

Given your lineup, I would save Arizona for week 16 (hosting STL). Much better than using them in week 15 at DET.

*I haven't put any thought into who will have divisions/playoff spots wrapped up

Only one left, here's my plan.

10: MIN v DET
11: PIT @ KC
12: ATL v TB
13: CIN v DET
14: BAL v DET
15: DEN v OAK
16: ARI v STL
17: IND @ BUF

Probably won't get past a few more weeks, but I guess you never know. I'm thinking most of these might be the highest spreads of the week. Might go CIN v CLE for week 12, which causes some changes but it's not terrible.

I went with the Dolphins this week. Too many people are on the Vikings, figured I'd save them for next week now that almost everyone has used them.

The time I was eliminated from a NFL survival pool was on this game. Go go go repeat!

Moving on with Minny and Nawleans here although the Rams made some noise late in the game.

Not too many people got eliminated this week, couple of stragglers were on Denver, Jets and Pittsburgh.

Week 11 here we come: A couple of candidates jumped out right away in Pittsburgh and Arizona.

A handful of good games depending on who people have available. Some variation of CIN/ARI/PIT/DAL/NOR

This week will be tougher for me than most, since I've already used PIT and NO.

ARI/DAL/CIN are obviously the best plays... but the Rams all of the sudden scare me at home after nearly beating the Saints, and Dallas looked like crap today while the Skins played well. And CIN @ OAK just seems like a big letdown game for the Bengals.

This is the money week if you haven't burned your Vikings pick. I think that's who I'm going to be on.

JAX is a good home option (-9 vs. BUF) this week. DAL as well if you haven't used them.

Good road options (NO, CIN, PIT and ARZ) to use at your own risk.

Those of you that were thinking of saving Indy until late better think again. At 9-0 they're likely resting starters in their last two weeks if the Bengals don't win out (lol)

I have DAL, NO, MIN and NE all gone for my main money pool. Leaning toward CIN over ARZ at the moment. ARZ gets STL at home again in week 16, which is swaying my thinking.

Dwayne Bowe has just been suspended 4 games and i guess it helps the Steelers lost last week, they should be more focused in this game to stay in the playoff hunt.

I don't have them in my Main money pool as well so I am looking at Dallas instead. The Boys will be a popular pick both this week and next week (against Oakland)

what are thoughts on JAX this week at home vs. BUF now that buffalo fired their coach?

I could also go with ARI, CIN, or NO

Right now, I'm looking at:

11 - CIN (@ OAK)
12 - ATL (vs TB)
13 - CHI (vs STL)
14 - PIT (@ CLE)
15 - DEN (vs OAK)
16 - ARZ (vs STL)
17 - BAL (@ OAK)

I'm thinking about taking JAX this week and leaving CIN for week 13, though.

I stopped reading here. Bengals next two games are at home against CLE and DET, and they host KC week 16.

It can't be right to use them in Oakland, where the Eagles lost and the Chargers only won by 4.

That's why I'm now leaning toward Jacksonville. Cincinnati has more future value than any team on the board.

was mapping it out until the end last night and I am going with Dallas at home vs Washington this week. Probably not my favorite game on the board but I need to save Pit and Cinci for future weeks imo

It's week 10, how much saving is still necessary?

Depends on how many people are left. With 20+, you have to figure you're going to be playing well into December.

You keep 'saving' all the best selections and your opponents will be playing well into December without you.

I kinda sorta agree. I have both Pit and Cinci available still. With only eleven participants remaining in my pool (started with about forty), I am definitely burning one of them them this week. I kind of relate it to "saving" your staff ace for a possible game seven when you're in the 7th or 8th inning of a tight game which you have to win.

IMHO Cinci is sickly on fire right now and that's who I would like to take this week but their schedule for the next month looks incredisoft at the moment - plus, five of our remaining poolies have already burned the Steelers. So I'll "save" Cinci.

So for me, Steelers it is.

still debating between pit and dal. lots of my pool has already taken pit, so most will probably be on dal, and some fliers on cincy, jax, arizona maybe. pit sounds good.
