Is PIT a bad pick this week?

I'm not against away games, but can you foresee oakland actually winning?

We saw last week that any team can lose any game. New England, New Orleans, Pittsburgh... nobody is immune, even against weaker teams like Arizona, Buffalo and Cleveland.

I still have a sour taste in my mouth from the Oakland 27, Pittsburgh 24 game in week 13 of the 2009 season. That knocked me out of my remaining leagues.

I'm leaning Chicago this week. Bush is gonna do work on the Rams coming off an emotional win.

Seems like the perfect week to put it all on New Orleans and hope that a couple of the others fall. Won't be inviting my friends over on Sunday. lol Chiefs fans

Popular picks this week are Dal, Chi, NO. I think one of those teams is going to lose. I have no idea which one. Taking the 'Skins.

I'm in a pool with just under 3k entries...$30 a pop. Half the pool eliminated last week from NE loss. One guy had 25 entires all on NE. $750 down the drain.

I like NO, Dal and also the Jets. Jets schedule is brutal next 3 of 4 weeks with SF, HOU & @ NE so I think this is a big time must win for them. I had Cinn, Cinn & NYG last week. Got lucky IMO with Gmen coming back. No rebuys in this one. I am in another with 300 or so and has 3 rebuys up to week 6. I'm far more willing to risk in that pool with rebuy ability. Had Indy, Buf & SD last week. Putting all 3 picks on Carolina tomorrow night with Hicks, Bradshaw and Diehl out. Line has moved from NYG -1.5 to Car -2. Hoping to steal a week with one team...if not I'll rebuy the following week but will not have used any great teams in the loss. Just my .02.

I think the Jets are a bad pick on the road against a divisional rival who seems a bit underrated.

I'm still torn on Chi or NO personally I feel like there's no logical reason for Chicago to lose at home to a mediocre team except for possible internal conflict and NO is an unknown to me at this point. Probably going to see which way the lines move to decide.

I think Dallas is a great pick. Tampa Bay has legitimate problems in the secondary. And we cannot trust Josh Freeman quite yet. Yes they are better coached, and yes Vincent Jackson is an upgrade but this team still should not be able to walk into the Cowboys stadium and steal a win.

Looks like he did the same thing last week with HOU. It's a tough pool....last year's pot was $77k. Almost $90k this year. It's over after week 17 - won't carry into playoffs. I think 8-9 people chopped it last year. Still wouldn't put all 25 on one team, definitely not two weeks in a row. Gonna getcha sooner or later...all these pools have a major bloodbath with a big favorite eventually. That game had to be nauseating also....Ariz turns the ball over on own 30 or something then they miss the FG. Where is the damn pepto bismol.

The games with the 2 biggest spreads in my league aren't allowed, and I have three picks left.

Put 2 on San Fran and 1 on Pitt.

I don't think this guy realizes the point of having multiple entries.

Me and a few others were trying to determine optimal strategy as we're in a similar pool. 20 entry max, last year 17 people split 200K. If you have multiple people working together and have say 200 entries, what's the best plan of action?

No love for Dallas vs. TB? That's my pick unless one of you gentlemen can convince me otherwise

Uh. It's Dallas.

That should be enough.

Dallas + a TB team that's looked halfway decent in the past few weeks

Dallas moneyline at Pinnacle is -400, making them the biggest favorite of the week, even better than New Orleans. Yet the Saints have three times as many people picking them this week.

It is an overreaction to the loss in Seattle this past week.

I like Dallas mucho too but I like them more in week 11 when Cleveland comes to town. Using something like: http://www.survivorpoolmap.com allows you to look forward a little to try and think down the road about teams you might want to use. Winning or at least chopping in these requires a little luck and a little foresight. Granted you have to get through the early weeks to even make it to the later weeks but it sucks to be in week 17 and have to take a 4-11 Jacksonville team at home vs a 2-13 Indy team like I did last year. Squeaked through but sweated big time. Lost with 8 people left when I took Pitt @ Denver like a dumba** instead of NO vs Detroit in the Superdome. No cash last year but I have cashed 3 times in last 5 years in smaller (300+ entry pools). I tend to stay away from road games when possible and I like decent teams teams to bounce back after a loss. Nothing is guaranteed but if rebuys are allowed in your pool (like two of my 3) then you're best to use crappy teams early and mentally prepare to rebuy if needed. The big pool I'm in requires you to pick TWO teams in week 5 and then week 10 so you have to look ahead to have any chance.

Just my .02

Bad feeling about this week, no games I really feel strong about. Rolling the dice with NO but have no confidence in it.

NO has lost 2 shoot out type games. They can score, KC can't - if you don't feel good about this game you're only going to feel good about your pick 5 times all year
