This is the point in the season I hoped to make it to. Still have 3 entries across 3 pools. I have 1 entry left as well in a double elimination pool.

HUGE week. I'm taking Green Bay, because I didn't waste using them earlier in the season. More than 50% will be on Philadelphia. Even if they don't lose, lots will have already used Baltimore, Dallas & Philadelphia going into next week. I have them all left.

Remember kids you can't win a large % of the Survivor Pool prize pool if you have the consensus pick every week.

Have a big decision in my double elimination pool. 50 players haven't lost and I need at least 48 of them to lose a game to be able to finish in the money. It's a tie breaker pool (add up the wins of the teams you picked throughout, lowest total wins).

Can't pick Philadelphia because everyone will be picking them. If Arizona ships, I'll be in contention in that pool. Need to decide who to pick...

What do you guys think I should choose?

Jacksonville at Indianapolis
Kansas City vs Denver
Dolphins vs Washington
Cleveland vs St. Louis

Kansas City has the least value equity wise because they'll likely have more season wins than the others. Whatcha think?

I'd throw Carolina into the mix, unless you're saving them for Week 12.

I actually like Indy to win this week.

Probably be 6-3 one way or the other.

I already used them in week 7.

You're might be right on the 6-3 part, but I'm not going to pick an underdog.

Well I ended up following the crowd and using Philly this week. I'll be using GB next week @ home against Tampa provided Arizona doesn't dish out the upset this week. I just have a bad feeling about Arizona playing SF next week. SF is a good team obviously, but their offense is lacking. After watching them cover against the skins last week by only 4 points, I feel they are very vulnerable to getting upset by Arizona. I'm hoping Philly's relentless offense just over powers Arizona this week and we can keep the ball rolling.

The thing about my pool is that we are all educated bettors. Almost everyone has all the power house teams left so I can certainly see my pool coming down to Week 17 or maybe even spill over into the playoffs. That's the only thing concerning me about who I have left Week 17. With the picks I have allotted now the only above average teams I'll have left on Week 17, provided I get there of course, will be the Jets and Atlanta. Jets are away at Miami and Atlanta is at home against Tampa. Neither of those games are easy wins, especially if they've already made the playoffs and they let their starters rest. The end game scares me.

Those are all pretty ugly choices. If I had to choose I'd go with two road favorites, either St. Louis or Jacksonville. I have no idea what to make of the MIA vs WASH game, it could literally go either way. MIA obv is looking better and better each week but they are still a very marginal team, while John Beck and the skins are due for a win. The skins also have a relatively strong defense, and after losing to SF by only 8 points last game I'd be hesitant to look favorably at Miami.

I'd probably go with Jacksonville if you had to. Tarvaris Jackson is playing pretty badly right now, but Jacksonville is very underrated imo. They've had a pretty tough schedule so far and they have held their own as far as I'm concerned. Again if you have to choose one of those games, I'd bet on the hope that the worst team in the NFL doesn't break out of their slump quite yet.

Everyone I asked picked Jacksonville. That's the pick this week. Remember I'm only picking them because I need everyone that hasn't lost a game yet to lose one before I can finish in the money. They'll all be on Philly. Go Arizona.

I'm eliminated, but I'll pretend I didn't lose on Philadelphia to see how my picks would've turned out.

This week's pick would've been the Green Bay Packers. I manged to save them, unlike most, so I'll burn them now and hope for some carnage.

Teams used: HOU, DET, TEN, TB, NE, CIN, NO, NYG, PHI, GB

If green bay loses tomorrow, I might die. Today was almost perfect. Only Miami didn't come through this week.

Who's still in? What does everyone think about Detroit this week? Stafford got banged up last week. Still waiting to hear more about the injury.

I'm in a double elim down to 3 now. We all have 1 loss. Both of them have used pats but not niners. I could go pats niners or lions this week. We've all used gb. Jump on near sure thing pats and hope Cards do it again? Or save pats and go lions?

Cardinals could just as easily be 5-4. I'd pick NE.

screams trap/letdown game to me. detroit has a huge thanksgiving matchup vs green bay 4 days later, they could easily be looking ahead to that vs the 2-7 panthers. carolina's major weakness is rush defense, but fortunately for them, they're facing a run attack led by maurice freaking morris. could definitely see cam stealing a win here.

I'm in one pool with a '2nd chance' format. After you lose the first time, you pick against the spread - favorites have to cover and dogs have to win outright. Do that right for five weeks and you're back to picking straight, but lose again and you're out. Started with around 350 entries at $50 per for a $17.5k pot.

There are 52 entries left - 34 picking ATS (essentially all the Eagles/Ravens from last week), and 18 picking straight. Of those 18, 11 have recovered from losing once and 7 still haven't lost. I have 2 of those 7 entries.

I have used up the elite teams in both entries, so am stuck with the Atlanta, Dallas, San Frans of the world. For the past few weeks I have picked the same team in both entries. After last week's bloodbath knocked a ton of people out, I am debating what the best play is from here on out. My initial preference would be to just keep picking the same team for both entries, but am curious if a higher EV play would be to pick different teams.

Thoughts?

I was eliminated in week 9, but I'll continue with my picks just to see how far I would've gone had the Eagles not layed an egg.

Teams used: HOU, DET, TEN, TB, NE, CIN, NO, NYG, PHI, GB

This week's choice is the San Francisco 49ers. I don't have NE or GB available, and I want to save Dallas for next week and Baltimore for later weeks, so the 49ers are my choice.
