On to week 9 fellas. What do you guys think about Dallas? If not them what about Oakland or Atlanta? A lot of people in my pool are going with Atlanta this week so I think there might be added equity in choosing Dallas or Oakland because of that. Thoughts?

I think Houston, kc, and Dallas in that order will be the picks this week. I myself am trying to buck the trends every week. Going with Oakland, and hoping for an upset in one of those other 3 games. I am going Oakland, kc, new England next 3 weeks.

Dallas is a bad play this week IMO unless you have no other choices. I know the whole point of this type of pool is to survive and advance, but Week 12 looks very, very tricky if Dallas (home against Miami) isn't an option.
I'm on Houston this week.

I agree. I am saving Dallas for Miami myself, but the way they are playing I may be worried about ruining my thanksgiving. Cincy is another option week 12 IMO.

I am considering KC, they've been playing a lot better as of late. Was going to go with ATL, but honestly you never know with those guys on the road. I''ll prob hope for a Colts upset.

Yea I was thinking about saving Dallas for week 12 also but considering that Miami almost beat NYG on the road I think that pick is far from a lock. I think I'm going with Dallas this week and using Cincinnati for week 12

I think picking the Browns would be super marginal depending on how many are left in your pool, etc. The Ravens and Chargers have about the same win equity this week imo so I think between those two you just have to look and see who you'd like to save for future weeks obv.

I need your guys' opinion on this. Week 12-16 are pretty much already set aside for me so I'm trying to decide which strategy I should take for Week 10, 11 and 17:

If I use GB this week, I'm going with SF @ home against Arizona for Week 11, and ultimately Philly @ home against the Skins for Week 17.

If I use Philly this week, I'm going with GB @ home against Tampa for Week 11, and using either the Jets away against Miami or SF away against STL for Week 17.

Thoughts on which line is more solid?

EDIT: I guess it ultimately comes down to this, which do you guys like better:

SF @ home against Arizona or
Philly @ home against Arizona??????

I would use the strongest teams you have left now, not wait until they might rest players in the final week.

Use GB asap, they will have home field advantage wrapped up by wk 14 at the rate they are going.

But you have to make it to the end first before you can consider your options.

With the upsets that we have seen so far, I doubt the Pools I was and am in (and the ones that you guys were and are currently in) will go the distance this year. Most Survivor Pools I know only have about 10% left after this past weekend.
