MIN? No way I'd take that in even 1 out of 3 leagues to hedge against a NYG collapse.

I think it's pretty clear either NYG or NE. 9 of these poolies have already burned the Pats, only 1 has used the Giants so I would expect most of my pool to be on NYG a) because they can't use NE or; b) because they want to save NE.

Also agree with previous post that the Giants have currently 0-4, Henne-less Miami at home coming up relatively soon in week 8. Pats are obv awesome to have available for survivor but I don't see a soft spot like that for them soon and for example, they don't host Miami til Christmas Eve.

So I'm thinking I should actually pick the Pats because I'll get some differentiation out of the deal as well (?)
I wouldn't worry about differentiation in a week as clear cut as this one. It's not like Week 2 where the Jets-Jags is a safe plan B to the Steelers-Hawks..
I could buy saving the Giants more if there were no other options for week 8 but you have Tennessee, Baltimore, and Houston all as strong options that week. Plus Miami is frankly not as terrible as everyone thinks.

Tally from the local pool I am watching. No surprise really

Giants 54.1%
Patriots 19.3%
Saints 9.7%
Packers 7.9%
Steelers and Lions 1% each

Stragglers on Indy, KC, Philly, and Tennessee to round out the pool.

G-men it is.

Because it is so clear cut is the precise reason to differentiate

I agree. I'm going with the Patriots this week. There just are simply too many people on the Giants. I'll sacrifice a bit of win probability in exchange for avoiding a big sheep pick.

Indianapolis (- 2.0 vs KC) 7 1.00%
Jacksonville (- 2.0 vs Cin) 2 .29%

Were 63 people going into this week in my league.

3 moved on with Saints, 2 with Chargers (me), 2 with Patriots
50 out on Giants, 5 out on Texans,
1 person with Green Bay still tonight

In my double pick week of my double elimination pool I took the Giants and Patriots. Really wish Carolina could have held on because the majority of the pool took the Giants with Houston, New Orleans or New England. Most of the pool would have been eliminated this week.
