Going for 4th win in Survivor in 4 years played. The top 3 picks this week are...

1. San Francisco
2. Arizona
3. Cleveland

I spread my picks out on these teams. Houston is a good pick. Chiefs are a sucker pick. If you pick ND/SD, you may as well not have entered your pools.

ya...friend of a friends pool, but it is GIANT and 50 bucks an entry. 1st place is a life-altering amount of money.

In a giant pool with a 350k payout. We bot 5 entries:
Zona
Hou
KC
SD
Cle.

I have no doubt we'll lose at least one, I'm sure these are the popular picks if I had to guess.
One guy wanted to take the Jets, which I thought was...interesting.

I went with the Chargers. If Phillip Rivers plays like he is capable of, I can't see the Chargers losing this one.

Agreed, there's no way they're losing this one, but there are some better spots ahead for SDC when the rest of the field looks harder to determine. You're not going to lose with SDC today, but there are better choices.

Actually there is a way they could lose.

A very high % of survivor players didn't think SD could lose to KC in week 1 last year.

If the Panthers and Vikings prevail, 70% of my Pool will be gone after Week 1. I managed to get by with the Texans.

in that one sf so still not a lock

almost everyone i'm in is double elim but this one isn't so all my cleveland losses are ok

looks like imma win after week 1 bc everyone else was on 2 ari, 1 atl, and 1 ind (guess he didn't know peyton was out)

one of those super leagues with like 3,000 people is down to under 200. i think a lot of groups got killed today

Yeah, my four leagues combined have 452 people in them, and 130 are already out, with 122 pending on Arizona and 65 on San Diego. It's a bloodbath. I'm on Arizona in all four leagues and sweating it out.

I find it really difficult to weed out the bad teams just with preseason info going into week one. I wanted to pick a "safe" team for this week. The game was still closer than I would have liked, San Diego pulled ahead with 10 minutes to go though!

Looking at Pittsburgh or Jets for Week 2. Leaning Jets as I like the Steelers against the Jags and Bengals later on.

Going to go with the Lions or Giants for Week 2.

I'm staying away from the Jets this week. As a diehard Jags fan, they will usually compete at the level of their competition every week. They can lose to the Panthers one week, but beat the Colts another.(Previous years) Makes no sense. Plus there are prob better spots this year to go against Jags. (Steelers, Saints, Ravens) Not ruling it out that they go in there and win the game this week.

Had HOU week 1. I like Dallas this week, but this is one of my double pick weeks so I really don't know who my second pick would be. A lot of tough matchups and I don't want to give way to the Steelers or Packers yet.
