I may go Washington to save Baltimore and KC for later.

I don’t like to advance to week 2 so I’m heavily considering Denver in week 1

In no particular order, I like Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, New Orleans, Minnesota, Seattle and Washington for the pools that I'm playing in. Some have double picks later in the season, some are standard single pick pools.

Arizona tanking the season. I have to take Washington.

Released week 1 starting QB McCoy and 4 other players that may have played a role.

2024 draft choices
2 firsts. Own and Hou
1 second. Own
3 thirds
1 4th
3 5th

For the Nitrobetting pools there's no house take and guys will miss putting picks in.

Does the nitro look still the same? That really soured me on it last year. Just so difficult to see so many basic things that the regular sites provide.

Might do 1-2 there for kicks though

Baltimore over KC, but more likely to take Washington, Minnesota, Denver, and Atlanta. Also, seriously considering Seattle...

Taking future values into consideration, and fact that Baltimore will be top pick most survivor pools week 1.

Good luck to all.

I like all your picks except Chicago and New Orleans, going to steer clear of those two games.

Denver, Seattle, & Minnesota are probably best value in week 1.

Any thoughts on who to take in loser survivor pool, with insurance through week 4?

I've always respected your picks and generally come on this thread to see who you like. Thanks.

Went with Washington and Minnesota in all my pools.

I don't see any better opportunities to take those teams this year... hopefully they're not too publics (and they win )

GL this season everyone!

Appreciate the kind words, DuckU.

I liked Chicago specifically for a 20K+ entry pool with (5) 2x weeks. I only took them there. 40 entries for me and lost them ALL. Oops! Took Denver in that one too. Didn't take any New Orleans.

Advanced 3/66 entries with Atlanta.

I went 20% Wash 20% Atl 20% Minn 20% Seat 20% Denver across a whole littany of pools. Actually a little less ATL because there is one pool which requires doubles in week 5 so I had to save atl for that one.

40% still remain

I'm going Buffalo week 2.

I'm looking at Philadelphia. Short week, at home, against a Vikings team that looked pedestrian. I think Philly is a good choice. Buffalo isn't a bad choice either, I just feel like they will have spots down the road.

I could be out next week but logged these in to make sure I don't forget.

I decided to go with 1 Buffalo, 1 Philly in my 2 pools.

Locked in Denver. Maybe a bit FPS but both my pool are rather large where it's almost guaranteed you need to go the full 18 weeks. Gonna need these butt-clinching picks eventually.

Lost week 1 in a rebuy pool. Went to rebuy and make a pick yesterday afternoon, but stupid Commish locked rebuys as of Noon EST. Make it make sense.

NYG is my favorite pick by a wide margin this week. Little/no playability remainder of the season. After that, I like Detroit.

Only have 3 of my starting 66 entries remaining. Partner and I are going to start increasing variance now to catch up on larger portfolio opponents. We're going (2) Tampa Bay & (1) Denver.

I went AI on the Giants. When I first checked the score it was 28-7 and I was pouting about losing all my pools in week 2. I just saw the score and feel like I hit a 1 outer on the river.

Lots of big chalk next week and imo no obvious pick. I'll probably just spread the risk out on a bunch of them. GL all.

Going with Kansas City for my 3 pools for week 3.

One of my survivor pools has an optional re-entry if you lose in the first 6 weeks. If by some chance I haven't lost in the first 5 weeks, should I burn a team i would otherwise not use to save a premium team and just use my re-entry? Or am I overthinking the strategy?

If you have to buy back in at 100% probably not.
All things being equal you probably just take LAR on week 6 and rebuy if they lose. Of course if your whole pool has that same logic could be some value in fading them, hoping they lose and the prize pool effectively doubles.
