Looks like Indy this week and Arizona in Week 7 will be heavily picked as both teams should still be available for nearly everyone. This means no blood for a while unless the unexpected happens.

Riding with PIT for all entries since they have almost no FV and Indy still has good spots later. Will probably be sweating but w/e

I was all in on rams, just because I have 24 of 26 entries left in this 200k pool and goal is to retain as many as possible. Then worry about who to take later

I don't get this strategy, but why didn't you go all in on Indy instead?

With so many entries, my main goal is to keep as man alive as possible to week 11/12 and also have the ability to keep a few games where I have both sides of a game available towards the end. Probably a poor strategy, but giving it a trial run this year.

I also felt there was a slightly higher chance of Houston pulling an upset than the giants, although I thought Danny dimes was not going to play when I thought that. Houston is terrible but I feel they are going to be a team that pulls an upset or 2 down the stretch.

Totally blessed this season so far. Waiting for the NFL gods to drop the hammer on me---we know how it goes, will win 6 straight coinflip games saving Rams for week 13, and then, as a 17 pt fave, POOOOOOF. We will see.

I restarted my Nitro survivor pool summary site for 2021; it's up at https://survivor.trythis.dev.

It lists all of the public nitro pools (except for the NitroSorry pool) and gives reports on pick %s by week, team usage %s, etc. You can also navigate to your user ID and to see lists of your live and eliminated entries.

The data _should_ be good but I've been tweaking things to deal with their changes since last year... if you see anything odd, let me know.

Please note that between the Thursday game and the Monday game, the pick %s won't be fully updated due to how Nitro is revealing them.

For example, for The Free Pool, it is currently showing as 947 entries heading into the week, but the left column's picks only sum up to 918; presumably 29 people chose tonight's MNF game (or didn't make a pick at all). Same with the center column showing 929; that's 947 (total entries heading into the week) minus the 18 that got eliminated on Sunday's games.

After tonight's game, whenever I update the site, the numbers should be square.

Very cool but remaining player pick distribution is skewed for non-Nitro leagues due to the unusual format/circumstances from week 1 of this years nitro leagues.

For example, in one league, 3% of remaining players used the jets, 5% Detroit, 9% Jax, 11% Houston. Those numbers should all be 0% or very close to it.

If I make it far enough, this can still come very in handy with a few adjustments for the week 1 picks.

Have used, Panthers, Packers, Broncos, Bengals, Pats, Colts in that order.


Looking at this week and ahead, I think I have go with the Cards, just like everyone else, too much future value in Rams and Bucs, have already used Green Bay and Pats, looking at Ravens in week 9. If I don't take the Cards this week, I don't know where I would use them going forward, thoughts?

Cards are ~50% in some of my pools with LA/GB/NE splitting the other half equally. Running with NE for most of my picks with a few AZ for the smaller pools
