Circa

(2) Atlanta
(2) Jacksonville
(2) Minnesota

It could be an early exit this year, but here we go...

For all other pools (alphabetical)

Atlanta, Denver, Jacksonville, Minnesota, New England

Carolina was my favorite pick a few months ago, but now it's a FADE for me. They're just way to highly picked compared to the teams above.

Riding with LAR in most of my pools - we're only getting a couple of games with Dalton and I don't have much confidence in the popular picks like Carolina or Jacksonville.

Week 2 early leanings are toward Pittsburgh & Washington..

I'm in pool with 7975 entries double picks starting week 12.

8 entries.

Week 1
Tampa Bay
Green Bay
Seattle
New England
Houston

LA Rams
Kansas City
Cincinnati

Minor carnage in week 1, 1600 knocked-out so far.

Nitrogen is a disaster.

1) they don't show any of the picks after kickoff

2) even after kickoff you can unlock your pick and lock a new one

3) general lack of clarity

I've been a big supporter of Nitrogen pools since they started. 2017 or so? I didn't enter this year aside from the freeroll, and given all the problems, am glad I didn't.

Well #2 was specifically outlined as a change in the new rules. And #1 is a result of #2.

I just wish there had been clarity on the lock times which apparently are at 8pm eastern for all night games.

Huh?

I picked Jax in the freeroll. When they were losing in the 4th quarter I changed my pick to Houston. Seems broken to me.

Every single other pool platform let's you change picks as much as you want, but locks picks at 1pm and shows all the picks.

Nitrogen doesn't do this. It's sketchy AF.

Are you sure you had the Jags picked week one? Pretty sure everything is locked at kickoff. I just tested it with one of the two Rams entries I got in before they locked and it did not let me unlock I got error this game is past it’s cut off time.

Yea after they changed ownership and updated site its been crap. It's like the people that run it have no clue or just don't care to put out a decent product.

6/6 Circa with 4 TB and 2 Car

Went 50% TB and 48% Car across zillions of entries, and lost with a few
sprinkles of NE GB and ATL bc I was at the Nascar event in Richmond and my partner went on tilt and changed a few sun am.

I would have preferred Min over NE/GB (they also lost) and would have preferred Jax over NE/GB as well. (who also lost).

Was a tough week for some off the board justifiable plays like Jax/Minn etc.

I agree it's absolutely insane that Nitrogen doesn't show picks when they lock. Now we have to go entirely on trust instead of being able to verify ourselves... not saying they're actually doing this, but there would be no way of us knowing if they or an employee just retroactively made picks.

I didn't realize they had changed ownership which makes me like the hidden picks even less.

Allowing you to change your pick before the main kickoff on Sunday was a welcome change. Allowing it after, and not publishing picks, is a terrible decision.

I'm already in for about 4k, but only because I didn't realize it was going to work like that.

Completely agree... just allow unlimited switches until picks lock, and lock them at 1pm Sunday (or kickoff for Thursday / Saturday) and show picks as soon as they lock. I'm even fine with not locking the 4pm / SNF / MNF games until kickoff as long as they show picks to earlier games as soon as those lock...

So sketchy... I complained and they basically said "too bad". I'm in for 12k but will never bet with them again if they continue to hide picks

What is the best way to approach Week 2?

You have the Buccaneers and Packers with very favorable matchups but you would want to save them.

The Steelers are 6 point favorites but I don't know how anyone would trust them. They host the Lions week 10 but you probably don't want to be with most of the pool there either.

Everything else is around that field goal territory again or less.

Browns or Bucs. Don’t over think it. The assumed bad teams don’t have good matchups to possibly win.

After how the Packers played, I would want to see a game or 2 of them not sucking ass before picking them.

Week 2

While risky I'm seriously considering Washington, playing Thursday night at home against a NY Giants team that looked pathetic. Ron Rivera will out coach the Giants. Game should be close, FG possibly less.

Arizona, Cleveland, & Seattle seem like good options too in week 2. But all three of those selections have lot's of future value.

Obviously lot's of folks will be on Tampa, again, so fading them might be optimal.

If the Was/NYG game was Sunday, I’d be on that for WFT. I don’t like short rest games, especially Thursday night games. Only saving grace to it is that NY played at 4 and Was played at 1 this week.

Bears would be my sleeper. Teams that play in OT tend to play worse the next week, Bears have Bengals at home. I think Arizona has better matchups later in the season

Apparently nitrogen isn’t going to show the picks of eliminated entries? Terrible.
