Might not be considered optimal but I like to play it safe week 1 so that I have some film to help evaluate teams moving forward. I go more contrarian later on.

Please advise on how to play it safe in week 1? Looking to bomb a lock ML.

I attempted to join the pools on Nitrogen, but when I try to confirm it says "this pool is closed for entries" on all of them. Did they actually close or is that a glitch?

I'm in a pool with 3,754 entries. Picks locked today. Here's the breakdown. We have mandatory double picks in 5 & 10

Seattle 26%
Philadelphia 24
LAC 11
Baltimore 10
Dallas 8
Cleveland 6
New Orleans 5
NYJ 2

Max 5 picks

I went 2 on Dallas, 2 on Cleveland & 1 on NYJ

I think So many people losing week 1 last year might be hurting numbers this year. My pools are smaller and several aren’t being run this year either.

Clicked through a bunch of teams on Nitrogen, didn't see any Chicago or GB picks. Not sure if they'd show or not. For transparency reasons, I'd hope they would. I know they do for TNF games later in the season.
