Very reminiscent of the Terps from yesterday.

Cardinals backers need to send Jon Gruden a christmas gift. Worst head coach in the league by a mile. Punting 4th and 1 on the Opponent's 37.

Wow what a brutal way for cardinals and chargers to lose. This has been a sickening week.

Wow what a finish with Broncos and Raiders winning with last second FG. Only me and one other guy left in the .25.

Makes the Steelers/Jags game even harder to stomach, would have won the .25 pool if the Jags could have held on.

I’m out. Rivers is a ****. Profited $9800 this season in pools, still sucks getting knocked out. Good luck to everyone still left.

Cardinals are idiots. Have the ball, just need to run down the clock, instead they take a bunch of dumb penalties to needlessly stop the clock and lose the game.

Out of all pools. Sad day.

I'm down to just 6 entries

3 left pays $7850 @ Cappers
12 left pays 2.589 BTC @ Nitrogen (I have 3 entries)
10 left pays 3.68 BTC @ Nitrogen
6 Lefts Pays 4.52 BTC @ Nitrogen

Week 12 I likely have 2 Saints, 2 Cowboys, 1 Ravens, 1 Patriots.

Did anyone confirm with nitrogen that the deadline will be Sunday?

Yes, the deadline is always Sunday at 12:59 E.T. Even if they somehow **** up and close submissions on Thursday, there will be more than enough time (3 days) to get it fixed. Wasn't like the London game with only 3 hours between the London Kick off and the regular game starts.

However, if you're gonna pick a Thursday game I would recommend locking in the pick before the first game starts (12:30 ET Bears vs Lions). Don't want a situation where they somehow close all 3 Thursday games after the first game kicks off.

I am alive for one entry in one of the nitrogen pools, but apparently I already lost 20% equity in that entry as well due to the fall of btc.

Btc drop is brutal on nitro, dropped 30-35% since the beginning of the NFL season

Yeah, this BTC drop sucks. Although, can't complain too much considering it went up like 5x during the season last year.

I've been in contact on here with the other person left in the .06.

Not that I don't trust the guy, but is there any reason not to share who you're picking in a given week when it's heads up?

I can't think of any reason not to, and it would help him/me if we're making hedges via sports bets or if there's a chance to both pick the same team to reduce variance (if there is more than one equally attractive option for the week).

Depends if you are chopping and also helps determine how much of a risk he is taking

Unless the team you have available is also likely to be your biggest available favorite in a future week, you are giving up EV every week you don't take the biggest favorite.

Yeah, had the same take-away (though I've never been H2H so worth a double-check).

In the case of coordinating a pick it would be when there are a couple of equally appealing options without a future play opportunity.

I'll be taking the Saints tommorow. Really wish Nitro would have allowed chops but firstly they don't even own the software and secondly it doesn't make sense for marketing purposes and/or getting people to throw money on ML hedges. Only way to chop would be to "artificially" collude be agreeing to pick the same teams each week but there's no way to enforce it (basically Prisoner's Dilemma). For example especially week 15, I've got MIN and you have ATL, next option would be WSH -3.5 which is a way inferior option.

I'll also be happy to share picks, as mentioned, there's really no downside at all and it's pretty obvious which team I'll be picking, pretty much I'll just be picking the biggest ML favorite each week. As housenuts metioned, the optimal play is just to take the biggest ML favorite each week regardless what the other does.

I'll be happy for weeks where we both have similar size favorites to agree to pick the same team to reduce variance. Most likely SEA week 13, PIT week 14 looks like we'll be on the same teams.
