This is kinda the way i am leaning. Anymore thoughts on the Chargers?

I think the Chargers have the most overrated personnel in the league and aren't worth saving vs. their bad divisional foes (even in their heyday they had some close calls with Oakland) and I also think Arizona sucks really hard so I'll be rolling with SD.

San Diego is a safe pick

you would think so, except I have done this and 60-65% of my pool are already gone and only one other person who remains has picked the exact same teams I have

I would have a tough time arguing this but FV can be considerably diluted if pool participation is ended prematurely

True, but I don't have that problem in my pool. We only lost 3 people out of 58 last week, and one of those three forgot to pick.

I could see some folks falling by the wayside this week. Hope it's none of you and me of course.

Ended up going with the Colts. Although, as a Skins fan, I think anyone who picked the Eagles is probably safe

Changed my pick 3 times this week. In the end I decided to take the Jags. I realize they're the underdog, but home game against division rival, and I don't see anywhere else to use them. I'm going Jags to survive Week 4.

You do know they get washington, cleveland, and oakland at home this season?

Looks like Carolina is the hot pick this week.

Wow, there are some downright terrible picks being made in this thread this week.

Does everyone realize that the lines in the NO and GB games are at -13 and -14 right now, respectively? That means they're both 80%+ to win the game outright. The only other game that's even close is SD, and already you're down to a -9 spread. If you don't pick one of those three, you're sacrificing at least ~15% in win probability.

This is probably the most appealing game left to use the Eagles in, but even so, divisional rival with McNabb's homecoming, no thanks.

GB has a terrible home schedule the rest of the way. If you didn't use them in week 2, this is the week to use them.

NO over CAR is a strong pick, but the Saints have way too much future value to use now. Plus many people who survived week two will be on them, that's even more reason to stay away.

Why take IND now, when you can have the same opponent only on your home field in week 15?

ARZ is downright horrible, I wouldn't be unhappy having to go with the Chargers.

My options, in order of preference:

Green Bay
San Diego
New Orleans

Ballsy call dude, not sure if it's appropriate for Survivor/Suicide Pools but I wish you the best of luck.

I myself will be on the Jags + the points tomorrow.

wana take Philly so bad because I just got tickets to go last minute but **** it.. Whale's Vagina has failed half the pool in my league so far so I mine as well sink with it as well if they lose to Arizona

if San Diego loses to Arizona at home, it just wasn't meant to be this year. I can't see a better overall pick this week.

Surprised you wouldn't take Green Bay with that second pick. I don't see any better spots for them this season.

I don't get picking the Chargers at all this week. They're a team on the verge of a complete meltdown.

If you don't have Green Bay left (which a lot of folks don't, having picked them in Week 2), San Diego is next best after New Orleans.

I caved and took the Jets when I told other people itt to stay away from the Jets lol. I really just wanted to get them out of the way I hate picking teams that I root for.

and we moved on to Week 5.

Early candidates for next week: Colts and maybe Bengals. Toughie no doubt.

Let's see what the lines are.
