Anybody else having pools shut down on Office Football Pool? Just had pools closed by two different owners, wondering if it's a coincidence or a crackdown.

They only run pools for entertainment. They've been known to shut down pools where gambling is involved. Good commissioners make sure any talk about money is done by e-mail.

Re-reading my first post, to be clear the pools were not shut down by the commissioners voluntarily. And it's two different commissioners.

Double picks for me this week. Double picks next week then single picks in 16 & 17. 55 left from 3k entries.

Detroit as one pick and have to choose between one of these in second:

Indy
TB
MN

Next week will use Atl (home vs SF) & KC (home vs TN).

Week 16: TN (@jags), SD (@Cle), LA (vs SF)
Week 17: Indy (vs JAX), MN (vs Chi)

Thoughts? Not trying to scoop, trying to survive 4 more weeks

Go with the biggest favorite. Probably Indy.

I assume Min will be more favored than them in week 17 so you aren't really giving up future value.

Ok so one of my pools is down to 49 from 1000+. Single picks and playoffs all teams reset.

I can use:

Cin
Min
SF
ATL
DET
TB
PLus a few other crappy teams.

Det seems like obv pick as biggest fav, at home, lost to Chi earlier, etc but problem is I have Det/Indy in my other huge pool that's double picks this week and I'm worried about having same team in both pools. Could go Cin @Clev but hate road games and both these teams not very good. Could go atl but prefer to save for next week at home vs SF.

Stuck with Detroit in both pools?

Who cares if they are a road team.
They are -220. If you think those are bad odds then go bet on Browns moneyline.

Detroit is -330. Atlanta is -230.

I think you're fine going with any of the options. If you want to differentiate from your other pool, go Cincy or Atl and find someone else for next week.

Or just roll with Det. It's to you but ignore the fact they are a road team and just look at the moneyline.
