Could have won my 11-person pool if the Ravens had not pissed their lead away (everyone else had the Saints).

But the Ravens loss was pretty good for my equity in my main pool in which I have two entries as 15% had them. One of my entries survived with the Steelers and I also have the Colts tomorrow.

11 person pool I ran is over, as we lost 3 last week and 7 this week. Of the 7 this week, 3 had New Orleans, 2 had Baltimore, 2 had Miami. The lone Survivor had Carolina last week, Minnesota this week....unorthodox but effective.

+1. Bowed out in 2 Pools (thanks Ravens!) but still alive in 2 others (thanks Steelers!)

Lost almost 80% in the Pools I was/am in. May the last man standing win!

Your pool is down to the final 3.5% with Indianapolis still to play?

Anyway, we have decided to run another one- Zathras & Wubba's Second Chance Pool, starting week 4.

This is a $10/entry, repeat teams pool.

So for those who survived Week 2 bloodbath, what's in store for Week 3?

It goes without saying but NE is the obvious choice but we are not quite there yet, aren't we?

Actually, you're correct. I just ran the math on this. Even though I would lose a couple of entries on the Colts, the Jets winning tonight would be significantly +EV for entries where I'm already through on the Steelers.

I normally watch NFL redzone. This week didn't. I watched on the Saints game then fell asleep watching the Miami one. The Saints game makes more sense now.

Drew Brees looked off and several of his deep passes were short. He said afterwards he suffered a shoulder injury in first quarter. If watch it Saints were way down and running the ball in the end. The guys covering it even said the defensive coordinator has to be shocked they are still sticking to the run game here. So guess strategy wise: not letting them know he is injured, threat of pass, with a lot more run in the end. He still passed as needed to, but his deep ones were off and short often. Hearing about the injury after the fact, I'm like yeah the game I watched makes a lot more sense now.

Was only 1 on CAR in the KOTH Xtreme hmm interesting, still have IND in play but it wouldn't be horrible if they lost...down to either the final 26 or 45 after tonight, GL.

Next week is interesting. Might just take New England and call it a day.

Is there EV on switching IND to NYJ if there's about 40-50% of the remaining pool on IND and you already got a couple/few entries through? And/or in the spot where there's 2 entries on IND to switch it to 1 NYJ, 1 IND? A guaranteed 1 entry through to next week should be worth more with 70-75% of the pool already eliminated?

What do you root for in this situation:

Jets win you win 1 pool, but lose an entry in another, or Indy win you don't win pool but your entries survive?

Gotta go for winning a pool. Entry value and players remaining matters but winning pool likely the correct answer

I can win 2 pools too with a Colts loss. Both would be a chop between all players that entered with everyone surviving week 1 and no one surviving week 2. Go Jets!

Should that happen it is too bad we couldn't just keep going letting everyone back in. But won't happen.

GG Prop and congrads, what kind of pools were these?

Ended up changing 1 of my 2 entries in a pool that had drastic eliminations and that I had a couple entries through already to 1 IND and 1 to NYJ last min.

After looking over the game again I realized had overlooked that matchup forgot they got back Revis, some additional weapons and Fitzgerald as QB instead of Gino plus weak IND O-line, glad I did. Never seen anything like this in any single week of survivor in the past 3-4 years I've played, glad to have survived in any of them but eliminated out of lot this week too.

6800 people, down to 727. You have to pick two teams next week then two weeks 13, 15, 16, and 17.

Is it really square and stupid to go Seattle/NE for one? and then use one of those teams +Carolina?

Can't believe it's come to this already. I would expect at least 700 people to have New England and Seattle in some fashion.

Of the 10 most picked teams this week, 9 of them had the result that I wanted them to have including 7 (SEVEN) upsets. I have 5 entries across 2 rebuy pools and I will NOT have to rebuy. I took Carolina & Minnesota in those. My only blemish was losing just as many entries on Miami that I advanced through with Pittsburgh. No complaints here. Amazing week
