I'm open to either if something convinces me. choices are good. I just had ARZ planned out the whole time, and oakland scares me a little
I dont think arz has much to play for because minny has a soft next two weeks so no way arz catches them.

Looking at it again, arz is probably the right pick as detroit is awful. I would just be aware of coaches pulling the old "i want to get my backups some time"

If Fat Boy Jamarcus start, does it still scare you?

I'm going with the Eagles for this week. San Fran isn't an ideal opponent, but I want to save Arizona for Week 16 and Denver for Week 17.

What about taking Zona now and take either Green Bay or San Fran in Week 16 (if you still have the Packers/49ers available)

General thoughts on CLE @ KC and HOU @ STL? How do you think these games play out? Does STL have that late season scrub team miracle win in them? Did CLE just use theirs?

I wouldn't touch either game with a 10-foot pole. All 4 teams have nothing to play for, well except for jobs, and you don't want to get this far and have to depend on the Browns or the Texans.

In my order of preference for Week 15 (teams that I still have available): Arizona, Denver, and Seattle.

You won't touch Houston, who's playing the worst team in the league, but you'd touch Seattle? Ok, ok, Houston is in the road, but c'mon.

Never say I would pick Seattle, just say I prefer it over Houston. And why should I pick Houston when I have better choices?

How does that road team thingy work out for you bud?

Philly @ Oakland: check

Pittsburgh @ Kansas City: check

Green Bay @ Tampa Bay: check

Pittsburgh @ Cleveland: check

4 biggest survivor pools killers this year.

If you want to pick Houston, go ahead and be my guest. It's your dough, not mine but I won't have any problem collecting your take after all is said and done.

I never said you should pick Houston. I was just pointing out the absurdity of the position that you wouldn't touch Houston (who's a 14 point favorite, -830 ML) with a 10-foot pole, but that you would pick Seattle (a 6.5 point favorite, -275 ML) over them given the choice between the two.

Maybe you know something that everyone else doesn't and should be betting big on home underdogs.

Spread wise home underdogs has been a good bet historically, but in a pickem league this doesnt matter.

slick, Houston line was not available when you made the first post so I had to go with what I knew at the time.

I don't even know why we are arguing over this when it's clear neither Houston nor Seattle was the best choice for Survivor Pool this weekend.

Some guys above me suggested picking Kansas City, i am not sure why you didn't pick that apart

Well Houston advanced me to next week....

Plan was to play Arizona hosting Rams but now that they clinched I am thinking about Packers hosting Seattle and then playing Broncos hosting Chiefs in Week 17. Any thoughts on ARZ this week versus GB???

I may also look at San Fran. I think they are out of the playoff hunt but Singletary wants to have a winning season or at least .500. Detroit is piss-poor on the road.

I suppose most of the survivors will be on either Arizona or Green Bay next week.

oh wow I can still use GB too.

do we think the saints will play to win at home vs. TB? I don't think they have #1 seed all locked up yet, so it's not a throwaway game. if so, I might use NO.

I guess we'll have to wait and see throughout the week
