denver is on the road and its a divisional game. do those two negatives cancel each other else or are you going to have to find somebody else?

Denver plays in the same division as the Jets? Anyway I've decided on Cincy.

Going with Seattle this week. Burned SD and Denver already.
AZ and TEN do not want (starting a backup QB rule).

Vontaze Burfict is probably coming back....huge addition for an already good defense...he is their best defensive player. Sticking with Cincy at home vs a banged up Carolina offense.

Update on Carson Palmer from Rotoworld:

"NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Carson Palmer (shoulder) will get the start Week 6 against the Redskins.

Big news. Palmer was said to be throwing at just 80 percent on Friday, and coach Bruce Arians admitted he honestly had no idea who his quarterback would be this Sunday. Palmer missed the past three games with a nerve issue. His return will be a boost for the entire passing game, though we'd look for the Cardinals to work the offense around Andre Ellington in Palmer's first start in a month. Oct 12 - 9:37 AM"

Cardinals moneyline is up to -265 now with the news that Palmer is starting.

Yahoo has them at almost 16% popularity, but in OFP they're just under 4%. If you can get them in your pool at a number close to that OFP total, I think you're laughing.

Good call, but this is one example of why pools make an earlier deadline (per the previous debate). There's something to be said for picks being in and able to be viewed (and discussed at the bar Saturday night) rather than having everyone hitting refresh on ESPN.com Sunday morning until kickoff.

I did benefit from this last year in a game megatron was announced out at the last minute, but I'm usually too busy on Sundays to benefit.

New rule: I hate Pete Carroll, okay that's an old rule.

I also took Cincy, flipping Nugent played like a Jet and screwed everyone! Oh well, only have to wait like 10 months for another shot.

Damn all of you who talked me out of Arizona. Still alive, though I'm sure there will come a time in the near future when I wish I still had Denver.

Leaning Chicago this coming week, bad idea? PHI/NO/GB/NE/DEN/SD off the board. Baltimore also looks attractive.

a Tie is not considered a Win and thus the same thing as a Loss in a survivor pool...

Depends on league. Most are must win, tie is not a win, therefore out. I'm in one where ties move on for some reason. Had Cin so I'll take it...

Gambling with the niners in a huge pool with many eliminations this week. This is such a disgusting, stupid sweat.
